Risk It All (COMPLETED)

Part 6: advice?

I was now a bit confused. Why isn't Brad with Hannah? Even though I have just had an argument with her I can safely say that she is prettier than I will ever be and she could probably give Brad more than I ever could. If he knew the real me then he wouldn't want me. If he knew that I grew up in care then he would choose Hannah.

"Are you ok?" Brad asked me. I looked around to see everyone chatting to each other. "Yeah, sorry." I said. Brad lifted my chin up and smiled at me. I smiled back at him, his eyes are so adorable. "Did you, erm... Maybe want to... Hang out tomorrow?" Brad asked nervously. "I thought you told Hannah that you are busy?" I asked. "I'm not, I just don't wanna be with her." "Can I think about it?" I asked. "Yeah, sure." He smiled at me and I half smiled back. I'm still not sure if I want to be with Brad. I just wanna get to know him before anything happens.

After a while the girls all went back to their apartment. I really wanted to talk to Rebekah about everything but I can't when Hannah is in the room. I tried to get Rebekah's attention by staring at her and eventually she noticed. "I'm going to the supermarket to buy some food. Anyone wanna come?" She asked. "Me!" I shouted and nobody else answered. "I guess it's just me and Chloe then. See yah." Rebekah said and we both walked out the door.

We walked down to Tesco and the whole way I told Rebekah about how I felt. I told her that Brad asked me to go out somewhere with him tomorrow and that I wasn't sure what to say because I want to get to know him first.

"I think you should ask him if he can go out next week, that way your not saying no to him but it gives you a bit more time to get to know him." Rebekah explained.

"I'm just worried that he will find out that I lived in care and then he won't like me anymore. Anyone is better than a care kid. Plus, Hannah is prettier then me and she can give Brad a lot more than I can." I replied.

"Everyone can tell that he likes you. Just ask if you can go out next week so that gives you time to get to know him. Then, maybe while your out together tell him about your life or maybe he will ask about your life. I'm sure he wouldn't think of you any differently if he knew that you were in care, if you don't tell him then he will find out soon enough and he might get annoyed that you didn't tell him in the first place. I'm sure his life isn't perfect either." Rebekah said and smiled reassuringly at me.

"He is perfect." I mumbled and Rebekah giggled. "I have something that I need to tell you as well." Rebekah said, nervously looking at her feet. "What's that?" I asked. "Me and Connor are going on a date." Rebekah said and I squealed with happiness. "That's great! You two are so cute together!" I shouted and Rebekah giggled and blushed. "Thanks." She replied as we walked into Tesco.
