Risk It All (COMPLETED)

Part 8: finally falling

The next morning I woke up and once again nobody was in the apartment. I am guessing that they are all in the boys apartment again, it's like everyone lives over there now and nobody bothers waking me up to tell me that they are going.

I rolled over to check my phone and there were no messages, why do I bother checking my phone when nobody texts me anyway? I put the phone back down and laid on my back. Is there any point in going over to the boys apartment? Rebekah will be talking to Connor about their date today, James will be sitting there awkwardly by himself, Tris will be talking to Sophie and Hannah will be flirting with Brad. What's the point?

*knock knock* I got up with a sigh and opened the door to find Brad standing there in his pjs. "Oh, hi." I said, quite surprised. "Hey, erm... I was just wondering if you were gonna come and sit with us?" Brad asked while running his hand through his hair awkwardly, I shrugged my shoulders. "Is there any point in me coming over? Hannah probably wants to spend some time with you." I asked. "But I... Wanna spend my time with you." He replied, awkwardly looking at his feet. "Why are you so awkward around me? Have I done something wrong or have I upset you?" I asked. "No! You could never do anything wrong and you haven't upset me. I just..." He started and then stopped.

For some reason I really do feel like I have done something wrong and I feel really bad.

"I just, kinda... Like you..." He mumbled. I stood there not really knowing what to say. Right now I'm not ready for a relationship and also Hannah might just kill me.

"Right. Erm, we could just wait and see how our day goes next week and then go from there?" I asked and Brad nodded. His eyes lit up as he heard that he had a chance with me. "That would be great." He said with a cute smile.

I think I might just be falling for Brad.

"So, are you coming to join the rest of us?" He asked and I nodded. He took me to his apartment and sat down next to me on the sofa.

Rebekah was sat on Connor's lap with his hoodie on and I could not stop thinking about how adorable they are together.

"Where are you two going today?" Sophie asked. "We are going out to eat and then for a walk along the beach." Connor said while smiling at Rebekah. She blushed a little and I smiled at her. "I hope you have fun." I replied and Rebekah smiled back at me.

I looked over to Brad and saw that he was staring into space, I looked at him confused and then heard James whisper my name. I got up and walked over to him. "He is thinking about the perfect place to take you next week. He really likes you and he really wants this day out to go well." James said and I blushed a little. "He won't stop talking about you. Ever since you bumped in to him 2 days ago." He continued and I blushed a bit more.

I walked back over to Brad and sat down next to him. I tapped him on the shoulder and he came out of his daze. "Are you ok." I asked him. "Yeah, I'm great." He said and smiled. I had the urge to hold his hand but I stopped myself. I looked over at Hannah and she seemed to be staring at James. Maybe she does like him after all.
