Part 30: what's wrong Rebekah?

A couple of hours went by and I decided to start packing for America, I am going to need quite a lot of stuff because we will be gone for about 10 weeks but I don't really have many clothes still. Brad has been trying to take me shopping again recently but I have just kept on saying no because I don't want him to spend anymore money on me, last time he spent £100 on me in one day! I do really need to go holiday shopping though to buy some stuff, I might have to talk to Brad about it and see if he will take me shopping but I will pay for my own stuff this time, but first I have to get some money...

Rebekah walked into the bedroom with a smile on her face and collapsed on to the bed, she has just come back from her day out with Connor and by the looks of things it went well. "How was it?" I asked and Rebekah smiled. "Amazing! I just love him so much!" Rebekah replied and I giggled. "What did you do?" I asked as I walked over to my draws to find my bikini. "We just went up to the park. But he kept on kissing me! It was amazing!" Rebekah said and I smiled, I thought about what happened earlier on today and how Brad was so careful with me and protective over me when we kissed. "Sounds good." I replied. "What are you doing?" Rebekah asked. "I'm packing for America. We are leaving next week." I said and Rebekah nodded. "How has your day been?" She asked. "Good thanks, strange but good." I said and giggled to myself.

Jesse then ran over to me and jumped up at me. "What's wrong girl?" I asked her in a calm voice and she barked. "I think she wants some attention." Rebekah said and I nodded. "Well you either want attention or your hungry." I said and Rebekah laughed. I sat on the bed with Jesse and played with her toys, she started to try and pull a piece of rope out of my hands. It was like we were playing tug of war. "Are you ok now?" I asked and Rebekah looked confused. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Well you haven't been yourself recently. I tried to talk to you about it this morning but you walked off to go on your date with Connor." I explained. "Oh, sorry. I'm fine." Rebekah said and I gave her a look. "Rebekah, I have known you since year 3. I know when there is something wrong, you can tell me anything you know. I am your best friend, well... I hope you still are." I said as Jesse continued to tug the rope from my hands.

"It's just... Every time I go on a date with Connor I get really nervous." Rebekah explained. "Why?" I asked. "Because he always wants to go so fast in our relationship, whenever he kisses me he tries to take it to the next level and I'm scared he will try and make out with me or something. I'm not ready yet." Rebekah said. "Talk to him about it then and tell him that your not comfortable with it, that's what I did with Brad and he respects me for not wanting to go too fast. If Connor loves you then he will do what you want as well." I said. "I would ask him to slow down but I don't want to loose him. I'm worried that if I ask him to slow down then he will get annoyed and dump me. He might like a faster relationship like Sophie and Tris." Rebekah said. "If Connor truly loves you then he will slow down. I promise. Brad isn't going too far with me at the moment, he does what I'm comfortable with and every so often I go a little bit further with him so it's fair on him as well. We like it that way. You and Connor just need to find your own way into your relationship. You need to talk to each other and if it doesn't work out then maybe he isn't the right guy for you." I explained and stroked Jesse. "Thanks. I will try and talk to him." Rebekah said and I nodded.

"We need another girly day, me, you and Sophie. We haven't had one in ages." I said and Rebekah nodded. "I know, it's because we are always with the boys! Good luck getting Sophie away from Tristan, they are inseparable!" Rebekah said and I giggled.

Brad then walked into the room and laid down on my bed. "Hello to you too." I said and giggled. "Hey baby, you ok?" Brad asked and I nodded, I was slightly confused as to why he had just randomly walked into the girls room and laid on my bed. "Is there something you wanted?" I asked. "Well I WANT one thing and I need to TELL you another thing." Brad said. "Go for it." I said and Rebekah listened in. "I have apologised to Tris for earlier, I know I was a bit out of order but I was just wrapped up in the moment." Brad said and I nodded. "Thank you for doing that." I said and smiled. Jesse ran over to Brad and sat on his chest. "Hey little girl, how you doing?" He said and she barked back. "Aaawww! That's adorable!" Rebekah said and I giggled. "What was the other thing you wanted?" I asked Brad. "A kiss?" Brad said and gave me a cheeky smile, I looked at Rebekah and she smiled. "Go for it." She said and winked at me.

I walked over to Brad and laid next to him on my bed, he moved his face closer to mine and gave me a delicate kiss on the lips, I smiled and then he pulled away. "Thank you." Brad said and hugged me while being careful not to squash Jesse who was still on his chest. "No problem." I whispered and Rebekah giggled. "You two are so adorable!" Rebekah said and Brad smiled. "What did Brad apologise for?" Rebekah asked. "I will explain later." I said and she nodded.

I got off the bed and carried on packing some of my stuff for America. "Brad, can we go shopping for holiday stuff?" I asked. "Of course we can baby." Brad said. "Thanks, but this time I'm paying. I don't want you spending £100 on me again!" I said and Brad giggled. "Where are you going to get the money from?" Brad asked. "I don't know but I will find some from somewhere." I replied. "I will pay." Brad said, he walked up behind me and kissed my head.

"Rebekah, do you want me to come with you when you talk to Connor?" I asked and she shook her head. "No thanks. I think I know what I need to say." Rebekah said. "Wait, your not breaking up are you?" Brad asked. "No, I just need to tell him to slow down a bit with our relationship." Rebekah explained and Brad nodded. "I'm sure Connor will understand, I understood Chloe when she asked me to slow down." Brad said and winked at me, I blushed a little and Rebekah giggled. "Yeah, but you two are like relationship goals." Rebekah said. "How?" I asked. "You would do anything for each other, Brad got you a dog for your birthday and you say that it is the beginning of your family, he always kisses you and walks up behind you to give you hugs, you have movie nights with pizza and you are constantly with each other." Rebekah said. "Wouldn't you and Connor do anything for each other?" I asked. "I would do anything for him but I'm not sure if he feels the same way." Rebekah said. "Connor might get you a better birthday present when it is your birthday. You are turning 19 this year!" I said. "I doubt it." Rebekah said. "I always see Connor kissing you." I said. "I know." Rebekah replied. "You and Connor are constantly with each other." I said. "Not always." Rebekah explained. "I think you and Connor just need a little talk. Me and Brad talk about our relationship all the time so we know what we like doing. Maybe that's what you need to start doing?" I asked and she nodded. "I will go and talk to him now." Rebekah said and then walked down the stairs.

"You are good at giving advice." Brad said and I smiled. "Thanks, I think it's because I have gone through a lot in my life." I said and Brad nodded. "I can tell you are going to be a great mum when we have kids." Brad said and hugged me, I smiled and kissed his neck. "And you are going to be a great dad." I replied and Brad smiled back. "Shall we take Jesse for a walk? She looks like she needs to loose a bit of energy." Brad said. We both looked over to Jesse, she was jumping on the bed and trying to catch her tail. "Yeah, I think she does." I said and Brad giggled. I walked downstairs and got her lead while Brad carried Jesse down the stairs. I clipped the lead on and then we put our shoes on and got our phones. We the walked out the door and made our way to the park.
