Part 41: bowling

We got to the bowling alley and got some bowling shoes, we then walked over to our lane and Tristan typed in our names while Sophie hugged him from behind. I sat on the chair and sighed, I miss Jesse so much and for some reason I don't trust Brads parents. They have been acting so strange recently and I hope they don't do anything horrible to Jesse. Brad came and sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulders. "We are getting drinks, did you want anything?" Brad asked and I shook my head. "What's wrong? You haven't said anything the whole way home from my parents and the whole way here." Brad said and held my hand. "I miss Jesse..." I mumbled and tears started to run down my cheeks, Brad stood up and pulled me up with him. "We are just going to the loo, get me a beer and Chloe some coke or something." Brad said to James and he nodded.

He took me outside and sat me on the wall, it was getting a bit dark now but it was still nice and warm. "Chloe, I know you miss Jesse but I'm sure she is fine. You can't just not talk for 10 weeks, that's no fun for anyone." Brad said and wiped my tears away. "I'm scared that she won't get treated properly or she might forget about me." I said and sniffed a bit. "Baby, she will be fine. My parents have had a dog before and she can't forget you! Your her best friend." Brad said and held my hands. "I know but I just have a suspicion that your parents aren't going to look after her properly... I'm not trying to be mean but they have been acting a bit strange recently..." I said and sniffed a bit more, Brad wiped some more tears away and sat on the wall next to me. "I know, I don't know what's wrong with them but they would never be horrible to Jesse. I promise." Brad said and I looked at him. "You know I never break my promises Chloe." Brad said and I nodded.

"Let's just go and have a good time yeah?" Brad said and I looked at the floor. "Your not gonna get drunk are you?" I asked. "No! Defiantly not!" Brad said and I nodded. "Good, because I need you to be thinking straight." I said and Brad giggled. "I'm not going to get drunk, I will only have 2 beers at the most." Brad said and I nodded, he then picked me up off of the wall and pulled me close to him. "I love you." Brad said and winked at me. "I love you too..." I whispered, Brad slowly put me down and his hands started wandering over my shorts again. "I love it when you wear these..." Brad said and gave me a kiss. "Not... Here..." I said between kisses and then he pulled away. "Sorry, I can't help it." Brad said and I smiled a bit. He kissed me again and then pulled away. "Come on baby, they will be wondering where we are." Brad said and I nodded.

We walked back into the bowling alley and walked to our lane, the disco lights had been switched on and there was loud music playing from the speakers above. Brad walked over to collect his ball and just as he was about to bowl Can We Dance started to play through the speakers, Brad looked over to me and I giggled a bit. The people that work here obviously know who the boys are. Brad rolled the ball and knocked down 8 pins, he then had his second throw and got a strike. He is too good at this game, he then walked over to me and made me stand up. He started to dance to the music and he sang along to it. "Brad!" I shouted over the music and I giggled, he smiled back and pulled me into a hug. "THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY SO BABY CAN WE DANCE!" The boys all shouted in unison and the girls started giggling at them.

Eventually the song finished stopped and it was finally my go, I walked over to pick up a ball and then walked to the alley. I looked over at Brad and gave him a look as if to say I needed help, he saw me and walked over to me. "Do you want me to do a practice swing with you?" Brad asked and I nodded, he stood behind me and I could feel his chest against mine, his warm breath brushed past my ear and his hands gripped mine around the ball. He swung the ball back and fourth a couple of times and then we both let go, I knocked down 5 pins and Brad smiled. "Good throw!" Brad said. "That was rubbish! You got a strike!" I said over the music. "It just takes practice baby, have your second go by yourself and I will watch you!" He said and I nodded, I walked over to get the ball again and then walked back up to the alley. I held the ball just like Brad showed me and I swung it just like he did, I then let go of the ball and this time I knocked down 7 pins. "Yay!!!" Brad shouted and picked me up, he spun me round a couple of times and I giggled as he did so. He then put me down and we stood close to each other so our heads and noses were touching. "I love you." Brad said and bit his lip. "I love you too..." I said, we started to move closer and then Connor walked over to us and coughed to get our attention. "Sorry to break this but it's my go..." Connor said and I blushed. "Sorry!" Brad shouted over the music and we went to sit back down.
