Part 83: campfire

Finally, I have finished my two last days of work! I am currently walking through the door of the boys apartment to try and find Brad, I know that he is excited about me finishing work and I wanted to tell him. I walked up the stairs to see Jesse asleep on the top step, I giggled to myself and walked over to Brad's room. I knocked on the door and I heard a "come in!" From inside, I opened the door to see Brad laying on his bed on his phone. "Hey!" I said and closed the door behind him, he switched his phone off and gave me a hug. "I'm so glad your back." He said and gave me a quick kiss. "Well I have finished my job completely now, I have enough money to sort out your birthday present and party." I said and Brad smiled. "Thank you." He mumbled and then kissed me again, I smiled and kissed him back.

"How are things?" Brad asked me as he pulled away, his hands traveled down to the waistband on my trousers and I knew what he was talking about. "Better thanks, I have nearly finished for this month." I said and smiled. "That's good, I don't think I can cope with you being in pain for much longer." Brad said and I smiled. "I'm not in pain anymore." I said and smiled. "That's good." Brad said and I smiled. "What shall we do today then?" I asked. "I think everyone wants to go out and do something together again." Brad said. "Oh right, where are we going? We are running out of things to do." I said. "Well I think the two options are swimming or starting a camp fire outside as it is a nice evening." Brad said. "I don't really wanna go swimming..." I said. "I know, I understand. That's why I keep asking if we can have a campfire but the boys don't understand and I don't wanna tell them because it's your private business." Brad said and I nodded. "Why don't the boys know about it? Surely Tristan would know about it. I can understand if James doesn't get it but Rebekah must of told Connor." I said. "They probably do know but they just don't understand what we are saying unless we say to them 'Chloe is on her period'." Brad said and I smiled "I don't really wanna tell them that..." I said. "I know. We can go and have a campfire instead with marshmallows and stuff." Brad said and I smiled. "Can I wear your hoodie when it starts to get cold and dark?" I asked. "Yeah, sure. I think we are sitting on the floor around the campfire as well so you can sit so your back is up against my chest." Brad said and I smiled.

We walked down the stairs and this time Jesse followed us down the stairs, we sat in the living room to see James and Amy kissing on the sofa opposite us. "She can't keep her hands off of him..." I whispered to Brad and he smiled. "I can't keep my hands off of you..." Brad said and I blushed. "James?" Brad said and James pulled away from Amy. "Yeah?" He asked. "Are we going to have a campfire then?" Brad asked. "I think so yeah." He said and I smiled, the garden at the back of our two apartments is massive! It's like a field with a swimming pool in it. For every two apartments there is a garden so that means we get our garden and our pool to ourselves.

Slowly everyone else started to come and sit in the living room, James and Amy finally stopped kissing. "So, let's go and start this campfire then?" Connor said and we all nodded, we all walked out to the back of the garden and me and Brad walked behind everyone very slowly hand in hand. We looked up at the sunset while the boys started to make the campfire. "Brad! Are you gonna help?" Tris shouted. "I'm happy here" Brad said, he turned to face me and I giggled. "Go and help them out." I said, I kissed him on the cheek and he smiled. "You sure your gonna be ok?" Brad asked. "I'm fine! Why have you been non stop asking me if I'm ok?" I asked. "I was just wondering..." Brad said and looked at the floor. "Is it because I am on my period?" I asked and Brad slowly nodded. "I don't like seeing you in pain." Brad said. "Brad, I have dealt with this for the past 5 years. I am fine and I'm not in pain right now." I said, I gave him a slow kiss on the lips and then smiled as I pulled away. "Now go and have some fun." I said and he smiled. "Ok." He said and walked off towards the other boys to help make the campfire.

Rebekah and Sophie walked over to me and I smiled at them. "Hey." I said and they smiled back. "You and Brad are relationship goals." Sophie said. "So are you and Tris, and you and Connor." I said while looking at both of them. "But he cares about you so much! Connor doesn't really like to know about 'girl problems'." Rebekah said. "Maybe he is just a bit embarrassed? It isn't something boys like to talk about." I said and smiled at her. "I know but at least Brad makes sure you are ok and watches movies with you while eating pizza, chocolate and ice cream!" Sophie said and I giggled. "He is just really nice to me I guess..." I said and looked at him, he looked back at me and winked. "Aaawww! Oh my god that was adorable!" Sophie said and I laughed. "It was just a wink, I see Connor wink at you all the time." I said to Rebekah and she smiled. "How's things with the baby?" I asked Sophie. "Going well thanks, I still keep on randomly throwing up but that's just a side affect." She said and I nodded. "How long until it is born?" I asked. "3 months." Sophie said and I smiled. "That's great!" I can't wait to see it." I said and Sophie giggled. "You can hold it if you like?" She asked. "Really? I don't wanna hurt it or anything." I said. "Of course you can hold it and I'm sure you won't hurt it." Sophie said and I smiled. "Thank you." I said and giggled. "Maybe once you have been around this baby then you and Brad might want one?" Sophie asked. "No, it's gonna be a while yet until we have kids. I wanna get married first." I said and she nodded.

"Girls! It's ready!" Connor said and we all walked over, we all sat on the floor and I sat in between Brad's legs so my back was resting up against his chest. "I love you." Brad whispered in my ear and I smiled. "I love you too." I said and quickly gave him a kiss. "Where are the marshmallows?" Sophie asked. "Oh! They are still inside!" Connor said. "I will get them." I said and stood up. "Are you sure?" James asked. "Yep, I don't mind." I said and smiled. "I will go with you then." Brad said and stood up, I giggled and he held my hand. "Be back in a minute!" I said as me and Brad walked off, we walked all the way back up the field and back indoors. Jesse was sitting by the door and I smiled. "It's a shame she can't come out with us." I said as Brad shut the door behind us. "I just don't want her running off." Brad said and I nodded. "I know." I said and Brad smiled, I started to look through the cupboards to find the marshmallows and I eventually found them. I went to open the door again but Brad stopped me. "Where are you going?" Brad asked. "Back outside?..." I said. "Don't you wanna spend some time with me?" Brad asked. "Yeah but we can't just leave everyone out there..." I said. "Who's gonna know if we're only gone for 5 minutes? We can just say that we couldn't find the marshmallows?" Brad asked. "What do you wanna do?" I asked and walked over to him, he tucked my hair behind my ear and rested his forehead against mine. He then kissed me and I smiled at him while pulling away. "We are going to get too carried away, can't we wait until we go to bed?" I asked. "But I wanna kiss you, I can't sit with you outside and have to stare at you knowing that I can't kiss you..." Brad said and kissed me again.

I kissed him back and he picked me up, he carried me into the living room and laid me down on the sofa. "Not too far..." I said and smiled. "I know..." He said and kissed me a bit harder, his hands went up my top and ran his hands over my stomach. "Later I wanna... Do this properly..." Brad said and I smiled. "Later we... Can..." I said and he pulled away. "Your so pretty." Brad said while trying to get his breath back. "My hair looks like I have just been dragged through a bush..." I said and Brad laughed. "No it doesn't, it looks perfect..." He said and kissed me again. "As much as I wanna stay here we should probably get back to the others." I said and he smiled. "Later?" He asked and I nodded, we walked back into the kitchen and Brad opened the door while I got the marshmallows and the sticks off of the side. We then walked back down the garden and gave the packet to James. "What took you so long?" Connor asked as me and Brad sat down in the same position as before. "We couldn't find the packet." Brad said and everyone nodded, Brad winked at me and I winked back.

James opened the packet and passed it round, we all took a couple each and put them on our sticks. I then started to heat mine up over the fire and Brad took a selfie of us both eating marshmallows in the sunset, he posted it on Instagram with the caption 'with my girl eating marshmallows at a campfire xxx' and I smiled at it. "These are nice." Brad said and winked at me, he kept on trying to eat mine but I wouldn't let him and he kept on giving me the puppy dog eyes but I wouldn't give in. "So guys, what are we taking about?" James asked. "I don't mind." Rebekah said and smiled at Connor. "How about truth or dare?" Tris asked. "No!" We all shouted and he giggled. "Knew that would be the answer." He said and smiled. "Anything big coming up in the band?" Sophie asked. "Not really at the moment, I think we are going to release a couple more singles and then maybe an album and then a tour?" James said and we all nodded. "Sounds cool, what are the singles called?" I asked and Brad kissed my cheek. "Last night, Somebody To You and Cecilia." Brad said and I nodded. "What's the album called?" Rebekah asked. "Meet The Vamps." Connor said. "That's cool!" I said and Brad smiled. "A lot of the songs are written about you girls." Tris said. "Aaawww!" Amy said. "Probably not many about you though Amy because you haven't really been here..." James said and she looked quite upset. "I can try and write a few and then see if Waddy will let me add them as last minute changes?" James said and Amy nodded. "I would like that." Amy said and smiled up at James.

"So..." Rebekah said and we all looked at her. "I have some news to tell you guys..." Rebekah said and we all stared at her, Connor looked quite nervous and I really wanted to know what it was. "Connor got me a promise ring." Rebekah said and I felt my heart drop, why is Connor copying me and Brad? I felt Brad's arms tense around me again and I shuffled away from him so he didn't hurt me again. "Connor! Why are you copying me?!" Brad shouted. "I'm not..." Connor said, looking quite scared. "More than one person in the world has a promise ring Brad." James said. "I know but it was meant to be mine and Chloe's thing!" Brad said, I put my hand on Brad's shoulder and he looked at me. "Calm down..." I quietly said and he took a deep breath and then sat back down. "I'm sorry Chloe but I feel like he is copying me." Brad said. "They aren't though, just because they have got one as well it doesn't mean that I am going to find it anymore cute." I said and Brad smiled.
