Part 17: the first birthday present

"I'm not." I said and Brads mouth dropped open. "You must be blind if you can't see how perfect you are." Brad said and I smiled. "Do you love me?" I asked. "Yes. I love you so so much." Brad said. I sat between his legs with my back resting against his chest and I could feel his chest rising up and down at every breath. We sat like this for a while just watching everyone having fun.

"Do you wanna go in the pool now?" Brad asked and I nodded. We both walked over to the pool and I used the steps while Brad bombed into the pool, he splashed everyone but I got a massive tidal wave of water all over me.

Brad came up from under the water and saw that I was dripping with water standing on the step. "I'm so sorry!" Brad said. I started to chase him around the pool until I trapped him in a corner. "What are you gonna do about it?" Brad asked with a cheeky smile. He was enjoying this game but to me it was revenge.

I started to splash him and after about a minute I stopped. Brad had water dripping from his face and I giggled. "Have you finished?" Brad asked and I nodded. He grabbed my waist and pulled me through the water so I was closer to him, I gave him a hug and he hugged me back. "I love you." I whispered and Brad smiled. "I love you too." He replied. I looked over Brads shoulder to see Tris and Sophie kissing, they looked adorable. Rebekah and Connor were sitting on the side of the pool talking, Hannah was swimming and James was sunbathing.

I then realised that I was still hugging Brad and I moved away. "Sorry, I didn't realise I was hugging you for so long." I said and Brad held his finger up to my lips. "I quite liked it." Brad said and I smiled. I quite like hugging him when he is topless.

He smiled at me and tucked piece of loose hair behind my ear. I smiled back at him and he bit his lip while looking at my lips and then back up to my eyes, his face started to move closer to mine and I moved with him. I closed my eyes and our lips slowly joined together, his lips felt so soft and warm, we moved in sync for a bit and then Brad pulled away. "Happy birthday." Brad whispered and I was trying to get over what just happened. I looked around and everyone was watching us, they gave us a round of applause and I blushed while Brad giggled.

I just kissed my boyfriend for the first time ever. "That was an amazing birthday present." I said and Brad smiled. "I'm glad you liked it. I have more presents for you though." Brad said and I smiled.

Everyone went back to what they were doing and I carried on hugging Brad. "You know, I like summer." I said. "Why?" He asked. "Because I get to see you topless." I said and Brad playfully hit me. "Oi! Cheeky." Brad said and I giggled. "But if you really like this then you can see it more often." Brad said while pointing to his upper body. I smiled and ran my hand down his arms and then his chest, he shivered at my touch and I looked up and smiled at him.

"You know that your my first girlfriend." Brad said and I looked shocked. "Nah, that can't be right. Someone as good looking as you must of had a girlfriend before." I said and Brad shook his head. "Lots of girls have had a crush on me but I never got into a relationship with any of them. Your my first and my last." Brad said and I smiled. "Well your my one and only as well. My first and my last." I said and Brad smiled. "I'm glad. I love you a lot. I could never let you go." Brad said and I smiled. I have the urge to kiss him but I won't.

It was then that I realised that I was biting my lip and Brad giggled. "Do it if you want." He said and I looked a bit embarrassed. "Don't be embarrassed. You don't have to ask to kiss me, just do it." Brad said and I nodded. I didn't really know what to do and it got a bit awkward, Brad could tell and took over. He cupped my chin with his hands and moved his face towards mine. Our lips joined and this time the kiss was more passionate, I could tell that he wanted to go further but I wasn't comfortable with it.

"Brad..." I said and he pulled away. "Yeah." He replied. " I'm not comfortable with going any further right now." I said and Brad nodded. "Thank you for telling me, I would rather know where I stand and how far I can go then upsetting you or hurting you." Brad said and I nodded. I love the fact that he cares so much about me, I can tell that this relationship is going to be a good one.
