Chapter 175: Curious

Few minutes later the group reached the shopping centre. They entered the building as Koga asked. "Now then for breakfast what do you guys want?" "For breakfast huh? Hmm usually it's Nii-san who made them for me back at home so I don't know what to choose. Nii-san you choose for me!" Ren said.

"...And in the end you just dumb everything onto me." Shiro said with a sigh. "Ehehe~!" Ren just said. "Hm? Is it jus' me or did da two of ya got closer somehow?" Mika asked. The two brothers looked at each other before Ren smiled and Shiro breathed out with his eyes and mouth closed.

"What are you saying Mika-senpai? Nii-san and I were always close." Ren said. "...Seems like it." Shiro said. "Fufu...I see...you two...must have had a good...talk yesterday somehow...." Ito said but his expression looks a little sad even though he's smiling.

Shiro and Ren noticed it. "It's gonna be fine Ito-senpai! We're going to be much more closer with the three of us!" Ren said. "....I'm fine with anything. We're part of a unit together anyways." Shiro said. "....! ...Y-Yeah...Thank you...King...Ren-kun..." Ito said with a smile.

Upon seeing the smile Ren smiled back while Shiro breathe a sigh of relief without opening his mouth. "Oi getting along well is fine and all but get your asses walking cause I don't want to waste time eating breakfast!" Koga said. "Oh right Shiro-kun what do ya feel like eatin' for breakfast?" Mika asked.

"...Me?" Shiro asked. "You're today's star so we'll willingly eat what you want!" Koga said. "...Why? Just choose what you want to eat. Besides I always eat rice with miso soup for breakfast anyways." Shiro said. "Then we'll eat that. I just happen to know a place with that!" Koga said.

"....Hai hai whatever we'll follow your lead." Shiro said as the rest laughed while Koga led out a "hmph". A while later they reached a food court. Ren took a peek at the surroundings and saw that there were not a lot of people. Even the people there don't seem to care that Shiro is here as they're just talking amongst themselves.

"Shiron, Takki, you two go find a seat for us. We'll carry the food for ya." Koga said. "....Sure./O-Okay!" Shiro and Ito said as the two head to find an empty seat while the rest went to order their food.

Once they're done they sat down with Shiro and Ito and started eating. Surprisingly it was peaceful. No reporters were there to disturb them and no one was talking shit about Shiro. Because of that they had a quick breakfast.

After eating and paying for their food the five of them headed out of the mall. "And then? Where are we going first?" Ren asked. "Glad you asked! Since Shiron always works too much we thought going to the arcade can help." Koga said. "...I've never been to an arcade before so how does that help bring back my memories?" Shiro asked.

"Relax. It's just the start. Besides it's precisely because you've never gone to arcades before we should use this chance to go. When you get back your memories you're sure to find an excuse not to go." Koga said with a sigh.

...Whatever happened to getting back my memories as soon as possible? Shiro thought with a sigh. "Haha true that does sound like something Nii-san would say." Ren said. "So we're really goin' to da arcade?" Mika asked. "Y-Yep! It may not help...bring back King's memories...but if he's able to...have fun in the process...we'll be happy..." Ito said.

"It's important to make new and precious memories after all." Koga added. "I see so that's why." Ren said with a soft smile. "Yosh! Then to the arcade let's go!" He then said. "Ooooooh!" The rest except Shiro said before walking to the arcade.

"Oh right before I forget Shiron." "What?" "Since we're here and all I'm gonna use this opportunity to ask about your past. It doesn't have to be everything. Just a small part is enough." Koga said. "Ah? You want to know more about me?" Shiro asked.

"Of course! We're friends and yet because you always keep your pain and problems away from us we rarely know anything about you." Koga said with a sigh. "....." "So tell us about your past! Like when you're a kid what do you like to do?" Koga said.

"Ah...I-I'm also curious...about that..." Ito said. ".....It wasn't much of a big deal. I just had a pretty much normal life. Although because my parents were always busy I was alone at home for most of the time." Shiro said. "Alone? Wasn't Ren with you?" Koga asked.

"...Ah." Shiro said as if realising his mistake of revealing that part of his past. ...Ahh this is bad. Lemme help him a bit. Ren thought. "Nope. Nii-san and I went to different schools and because of the distance Nii-san also arrived home first. That's why he said he's alone most of the time until I come back." He then said.

"So that's it. Tch. Say it properly next time will you?" Koga said. "...Well I'm sorry for having a lame ass explanation then." Shiro said sarcastically. "...But like Ren said most of the time I'm alone at home and because of that I'm often the one who cooks for the family. Not that I mind just so you know." He then said.

"K-King you're the one who cooks...? F-For the whole family...? T-That's amazing...!" Ito said. "Is that why during the Food of Wars you CosDi team was able to win? That's a bit too unfair don't you think?" Koga asked.

"...The what now?" Shiro asked. "The ES Food of Wars. Nii-san you were the leader of our team and we were to make a dish to satisfy the judges. Safe to say we won!" Ren said. "...I...see? I don't really get it but I guess it's fine since we won." Shiro said.

"To be honest Imma a bit surprised." Mika said. "Mika-senpai?" Ren asked. "Since ya technically dunno us I thought ya would be more skeptical of us but I didn't think ya would be talkin' causally jus' like this." Mika said. "....."
