Chapter 174: Apology

A while later Shiro reappeared again with his proper casual outfit. "Ah he's here." Tsukasa said. "That's fast. I thought you'd take a longer time." Ren said. "...Ah? Are you trying to pick a fight with me? I wasn't fast. You guys were probably having fun talking you didn't know I took 10 minutes to prepare." Shiro said with a sigh.

"...Eh?" Mika said as he looked at his watch. "Woah?! I-It's true! It has already been 12 minutes!" He added with a shock. "Eh?! No way?! Already?! Damn we can't keep Oogami-senpai waiting! Nii-san let's get going!" Ren said as he and Mika started going downstairs with Ren grabbing his brother along not allowing Shiro to say anything.

"Aaaaaand there they go." Tsukasa said. "Should we go after them?" Souma asked. "No I don't think there's a need-degozaru. We three have our own jobs today and I believe Takasaki-dono and the others will be able to bring back Shiro-dono's memories-degozaru." Shinobu said.

"...Hai. I agree. I regret not being able to do anything to help but if Shiro-senpai comes back with his memories intact then that'll be good enough for us." Tsukasa said. "Umu. In that case we shall just focus on our job that's coming up in a few hours." Souma said as Tsukasa and Shinobu nodded.

Meanwhile Mika, Ren and Shiro arrived at the lobby of the 1st floor where Koga and Ito are waiting. Koga looked up and saw the three, or rather two of them with one being dragged, coming towards them. "Tch. You're late you bastards! What were you doing?!" Koga asked. "Sorry we're late! We didn't chec' da time!" Mika said.

"Fufu...it's okay...y-you must have had....a good time....talking...ah g-good morning...king..." Ito said. "...Good morning. I'm still not used to being called King though." Shiro said with a sigh. "That's your nickname so quickly get used to it." Koga said.

"But that's not important right now. As I've already said Takki and I have made a plan to get back Shiron's memories. We call it, Operation: Retake Memories!" He added. "...Lame." Shiro said. "...Ah?! The hell you say?!"

"Hahaha! And then? What's the plan?" Ren asked. "We're going to the nearby shopping mall first! We need to have breakfast to start our day!" Koga said with a smirk. "Agreed! Nii-san are you okay with that?" Ren asked. "...Do whatever you want." Shiro said.

"Imma follow ya alon' too!" Mika said. "L-Let's go then...." Ito said as the five of them head to the shopping centre. Luckily for them the reporters aren't there and there seems to be not a lot of people. "It's quite empty today." Ren noticed. "...Probably because it's early in the damn morning." Shiro said.

"....I mean who the hell even busts into someone's room at 7 when you have the day off?" He then added with a sigh. "Ah? The hell are you on about? It's best we do this as quickly as possible! Or else there's no knowing when your memories will come back!" Koga said.

"...Tch. Meddlesome much." Shiro whispered. "Oi I heard that Shiron. I don't care what you think we're doing it after we eat our breakfast!" Koga said with his arms crossed and a 'hmph'. "Fine whatever I did say you can do whatever you want." Shiro said.

"Hah! Trust me I'll do whatever I want all right!" Koga said with a smirk as the five continued walking. While Koga, Ren and Mika were talking Shiro took a peek at Ito for a moment. He then sighed as he got close to him. "...Oi. Takasaki was it?" He asked.

"E-Eh? H-Hyai!?" Ito said. "...Ah my bad. I guess I scared you." Shiro said. "N-No it's okay...umm w-what...do you need?" Ito asked. "...." Shiro said nothing as he scratched his neck and looked away for a moment. "...?" Ito tilted his head in confusion.

"...On that day when I lost my memories I couldn't remember anyone. I heard from your alter ego, Shadow, how you were shocked to the point he had to take over your body. He scolded me for breaking my promise quite badly." Shiro said.

"...Although I don't remember what I promised you I shouldn't have given you a shock just because I have amnesia. I don't know how we view each other but since we're in the same unit I can assume we're close." He added.

"...So umm...sorry for making you depressed on that day." He then said as he scratched his neck and looked away. "...! N-No it's not your fault, King! I-I was just reacting too hard because of the shock..." Ito said. "Your reaction is to be expected. If someone precious to you suddenly tells you they don't remember you I would be shocked too." Shiro said.

"So to amend for it I'll make sure to try and get my memories back by today." He added. "Ahh...I-I'm happy with the thought...but even if...it's not today it's fine...in the end...if you were able to recover your memories...it'll be worth it..." Ito said. "...I see. Then I'll try my best not to disappoint you." Shiro said. Ito said nothing but he nodded with a smile.

[Note: From now onwards I will post one chapter per week so that I can concentrate on writing better not rush just because I used to post once every 2 days. And yes I will post every Monday]
