It is Kol.

Something about looking into the eyes of Kaleb immediately sends the thought into Evanora's mind. Logically it is impossible. He was murdered with the white oak stake; his entire sire line dying off with him. But as she looks back once more at his disappearing frame, it just confirms what she knows.

It is her twin. Somehow, he's alive in a different body. But why wouldn't he tell her? How did he get back? Who brought him back? And, would he ever be her brother again?

"We must find Niklaus," Elijah says, false calmness coating his breath. She simply nods with a sharp intake. Evanora Mikaelson could have died tonight at the hands of her father. Well, her once dead father. But she doesn't pay that much mind.

Instead, she keeps repeating the times she has seen Kaleb. As much as it eats her alive, she does not speak the words to Elijah. If Kol wouldn't tell her, why would he tell Elijah? She may be hurt by not knowing, but there must be a good reason for him not to have told her. She knows him too well, he was her best friend.

Elijah and Evanora walk hurriedly down the streets of New Orleans. It's past 9, people are still roaming the streets. Few straggler charlatans cry out claims of being able to predict their future, to know when she would have children. Only if they knew.

Evanora has not given children much thought, due to the fact of her inability. She wanted a child, once upon a time, back when she was still human. That would have been her duty to her betrothed. Rebekah has always been the one who was still adamant on the thought of children. It did sadden her when she discovered she could not have a child of her own, but it is for the best.

The silence between the two Originals is tense, not comfortable. What is there to say? They both entire the Abattior, both faces grave. Evanora follows Elijah to the cellar, her thoughts still racing. Klaus Mikaelson opens a bottle, making eye contact with his two siblings as they enter. "It's worse than we thought. I met the witch, Cassie. I studied her, her presence. The way she carried herself. The fervor with which she voiced her hatred of our kind."

The blonde Original already hates where this is going.

"I looked into that girl's eyes and I swear to both of you, she is not just guided by our mother, she is our mother." As if the wind is knocked cleanly out of her lungs, Evanora stumbles slightly. "What is happening?" Elijah whispers as he intakes the news.

"I'm going to kill her. I will boil her bones and feed them to the dogs, if that's what it takes." The hybrid rambles, trying to come up with a solution. This must be solved, for his daughter's sake. "Niklaus..." Elijah trails, making Klaus turn to face him. "What? What could possibly be more important than the return of our mother?"

"Our father." Evanora says, the words not even sounding right on her tongue. "We saw him standing there in the flesh as you do now. He was enslaved with some spell cast by Davina. He holds the stake." Elijah shakes his head. The thought scares him right to his core. Klaus' face turns into pure terror. The one thing that could kill him in the hands of the man who hates them the most. "If she chooses to release him..." Elijah can't even finish the sentence. Death would greet the Mikaelsons with open arms. The family who escaped it many times would finally meet face to face.

"Well, then there's only one question we need to ask, isn't there?" The three look at each other before nodding. "Which of our parents do we kill first?"

Evanora creeps into the night, her heels clicking against the wooden porch. Her hands clammy with nerves. Everything tonight has rearranged her entire life. It seems this awakening has changed for the worse. Her parents are out for her life, their cruel vendettas fueling their fire. She quickly knocks against the wooden door.

She doesn't come out here often, her brothers taking up more time than she can comprehend. The swampy Louisiana bayou surrounds the home. It isn't too far from hers, she made sure of it. The door swings open, Eudora Gaines immediately grins and opens her arms. "Hello, darling!" She laughs and grabs Evanora in for a hug. It's tight, but comfortable. The Original immediately feels the tears beginning to form.

"I almost died tonight," Her voice is soft like a child. This is the closest she has come to the stake. Eudora pushes back to look at her, the witch's face stricken with horror. "My parents are going to kill me." Then the tears fall.
