***Reds outfit***

James Pov:
"Hey Gina, I got some uh pretty bad news"
"What is it"
"Jai is in jail"
"What! Again, what did he do this time"
"Um. This time is different, he's getting a uh, umm"
"God dammit James what is it"
"He's getting a life sentence"
There was silence over the phone but seconds later there was a quiet sob
"Gina, please don't cry just come to court and we'll have a talk with him and try to convince him to take some time off his sentence"
"O-ok I'll be right there"
We hung up and I made sure not to miss the judge if he was leaving, cause I already know when he goes home which is in 20 minutes

"Gina come on he gets off work in 10 minutes"
"Ok, and sorry I'm late there was traffic"
"Its ok"
We walked in and sat inside waiting and five minutes later I saw him walking towards the door in normal clothes
"Excuse me, Judge Rodriguez"
"Yes"
"I'm James Yammouni,and this is Gina Brooks mother of Jai Brooks"
"Ah! The guy with all the murders"
"Yea, we're here to talk about changing his life sentence into something else or less"
"Do you want to talk over coffee cause I've had a long day"
"Sure"
"Ok just follow my car"

We ended up going to a small comfy coffee place close to Steves house actually so once we got inside him and Gina ordered some coffee and went straight to business

"Ok so what was it you wanted me to do" he asked
"My son Jai Brooks was given a life sentence, and I-I can't live with the thought of me failing him, he's the youngest child and he cant- I cant live without him please just please change his sentence" Gina cried
"I can't change the law Ms.Brooks, its not in my hands"
"Bu-but he's so innocent, not everyone is perfect.. you've made mistakes in your past havent you"
"Yes I have, but killing 6 people is not a mistake, he had the intention of doing it"
"Yea I understand but he was going through so much"
"And what would that be" he asked

"He started doing drugs, drinking, came him with a different girl everyday but then he met a girl and nobody noticed this but she changed him, he stopped doing the drugs, got better grades, and the drinking i'm not sure about that but he's a changed man and he's probably snapped, and I know you understand me when I said he snapped because we all have that moment when all of our anger just comes out and well his happened to be violent"

"I know but I already said this, I. Can't. Change the law"
"Wait sir! There has to be something less than that like can't he be on strict probation and has to do community service or something, I mean look at him he's a lanky guy with anger issues he can't stand a day in jail" I explained
"I'll see what I can do, but this decision lays in the hand of the victims guardian"

"Ok, do we talk to them or me" Gina asked while wiping her tears away
"I'd usually do it but I wouldn't show emotion, so if you want them to agree to what I'm about to tell you then go by yourself"
"Ok what do I have to do"
"Convince them that he's an innocent child and mame them want to not press charges"
"O-ok, I will"
"Here are a list of where they live and don't tell them I'm giving you this advice or that we even talked after court"
"Ok we got you" I said and got up
"I'd go now before Jais sentence is permanent"
Gina quickly got up, thanked him then ran outside to the car

Reds pov:
I haven't heard from Evan for a while, I wonder what's going on with him
Instead of calling him and asking if I could come over I called Lilly
"H-hi Lilly"
"Hey Red... how you doing" she asked as if her nose was stuffy
"Good, can I come over"
"Sure but I-I'm not in the best mood so if you'd like you can just hangout with Evan or James I don't know"
"Ok, I'll be over in a bit"
We both said our goodbyes and hung up
I put on some leggings with jean shorts on top, a white knitted sweater and a beanie on top of my wet hair since it is practically on the verge of snowing here in New York
I put my shoes on and got into my car
