Truth or Dare: School is Coming

Here I am... so bored. School is coming in a few more days. I'm not really happy like I should be.

I mean, this summer been horrible. Too much drama and things to deal with. I just wish I knew this stuff was gonna happen so I can try to prevent it.

I was in my room, reading my favorite book series.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

I love Greek mythology. It's so cool. I was reading book 1. I know, pathetic.

But it's still good.

Today was a quiet day, Brianna wasn't bugging me, my mom wasn't constantly talking, and my dad....?

He never bothered me. It was a peaceful day. But nothing ever stays peaceful, right?

I could hear the doorbell ringing. It was really annoying me. I slammed my book close.

I got up and went down the stairs to open the door.

It has to be my mom; she must of forgotten her keys.

But when I opened the door, I saw my two besties. Chloe and zoey obviously.

"Hey girlfriend! Care to hang out today?" Chloe exclaims, clapping her hands together.

"Of course. Come inside," I said, stepping aside to let them in.

Immediately, we run up the stairs to my room.

We sit on my bed in a circle.

"School is almost here. So girls, we got to hang out more with each other," Zoey says.

Me and Chloe nod in agreement.

"What you guys want to do?" I ask, playing with the bracelet on Chloe arm.

"Let's make friendship bracelets!" Chloe and Zoey exclaims at the same time.

"Good idea!"

The whole afternoon, we were making friendship bracelets. We would laugh, make jokes, or spill some gossip while making the bracelet.

It was fun hanging with my bff's again. School is almost here and this is probably the last time we will spend together a lot.

"Guys, I finished my friendship bracelet!" Chloe smiles, shoving them up in the air.

"Me too!" I add.

"Me three!"

We all laugh and then give each other a bracelet. After awhile, we sit down and look up at the ceiling.

"Guys.... do you miss school?" I ask.

Chloe nods, "yes I do. It's better than this summer."

"Yeah I guess," zoey agrees.

I didn't say anything, but closed my eyes.

Q: why do you like dork diaries books?

A: I like them because.... well... it's nice. I love how everything is just portrayed. It's not a lot of drama but it's good enough. It's a really good series.

A: hm... I have 2 chapters left before this book ends. The last chapter is very special and long.

A: My new book is coming out real soon. I don't know specifically yet, but it's going to be real soon. I also have a lot of editing to do. So yeah.
