Chapter 14

Limang minuto bago magalas syete ng gabi, naglalakad na si Dei papunta sa Beach front Resto.  Suot ang pinaka komportableng damit niya, fitted jeans, light yellow sleeveless blouse and a blue hoodie  and he curled her hair pero niladlad lang nya at nakarubber sandals.  Malayo pa siya natanaw na niya si Uno. Tumayo ito ng makita siya sa tapat ng pinto ng beach front resto ng Destiny. Kumaway pa ito at ngumiti ng lumapit siya. 

Dei:  So this is me... out of my corporate suit.

Uno:  And this is me... out of my extreme sports outfits... 

Dei:   Hmmmm naka levis jeans, air jordan snickers, blue and yellow striped lacoste sports shirt and a rolex sports wristwatch, yah you look  ordinary.

Uno:  Hey, I hear sarcasm there, pano mo naman nalaman na original tong mga suot ko?

Dei:  Masanay ka na 90% of the time sarcastic ako eh. Well I live with the Santillan-Perez Brothers. I am familiar with original branded items.

Uno:  So, you are not impressed with expensive things because you don't like them?

Dei: Who wouldn't like them? But I just think its not practical I'd rather received something made than bought as a gift.

Uno: Point taken. Well, I promised to introduce myself. I am Timothy Bryan Benitez-Tan I. I'm 27 years old, graduated at San Beda, BSBA major in Management.  Currently, VP for Finance of Benitez-Tan Business Corp. Oldest  among 3 siblings, I have two sisters whom I dearly love, Tiana and Therese. Or as my Mom usually say ang Unico Hijo ng  mga Benitez-Tan. (nagboses babae)

Dei:  Ganyan talaga magsalita ang Mom mo?  

Uno:  No, my Mom has a lovely voice.

Dei: layo nman ng Uno sa Timothy?

Uno: the first kasi ako kaya Uno.

Dei:  Well, it is nice to finally meet you Mr. Timothy Bryan Benitez-Tan I.  My name is Dei Gianne Capili. I'm 25 years old, Unica Hija, but I think I am an orphan now. Ang kinikilala kong ama ay si Mr. Simon Santillan-Perez.  Graduated College at Dela Salle Manila, BSHRM major in F&B Management.  Currently, Destiny Resort & Hotel's F&B Manager.

Uno: Impressive naman pala ang academics mo eh

Dei:  That is something na maipagmamalaki ko because I graduated with Honors, but unlike you I don't own anything except for a motorcycle na niregalo sa akin ng Uncle ko.

Uno:  You ride a motorcycle? anong klase?

Uno:  whoah, that's one of the best for women, sabi mo ayaw mo ng expensive.

Dei:  Hindi mo ba narinig, regalo ng Uncle ko.

Uno:  Well what else would you want to know about me?

Dei:  for starters anong favorite food mo? nagugutom na kasi ako eh

Uno:  Oo nga naman, sorry naexcite akong makita ka eh nabusog tuloy ako.

Dei:  wow, may ganong hirit

Uno:  ang baduy no? 

Dei:  Slight, pero pwede na. So, anong order mo?

Uno:  You first... 

Dei: baked zitti and the seafood plater, ipapatikim ko sa yo lahat ng paborito ko.

Uno:  Roast beef open faced sandwich with mashed potatoe and mushroom gravy, buttered  vegies, pwedeng  beans, corn, karrot and mushrooms?

Dei:  Dahil ako ang kasama mong kumain syempre pwede... Sam pakitawag si Julie
