My emotions are running away with me here.. Tonight's dinner has to be a success.I don't know what to expect and to be honest I'm scared,not for me.. for Matt.. A human amongst crazy vampires,a witch,werewolf and a hunter! I'm sorry if I seem uneasy I just don't know what to expect.. Growing up in my time where people despised our kind,it's not easy being optimistic and I'm nervous around Klaus,he and I haven't been on good terms and since we've made up I don't know what he'll do

Stefan:what's bothering you? (holds her waist and kisses her behind her ears) you're so quiet
Maria:(smiles at him) aren't I always?
Stefan:yes but not like this (spins her around to face him)
Maria:(sigh) this dinner
Stefan:baby we can cancel,whatever you want
Maria:no no,its fine,I'm just... nervous...that's all
Stefan:(kisses her) you let me know if you want to cancel (puts her hair behind her ears) okay?
Maria:yeah (nods) Elena is on her way now..
Stefan:what are you guys going to do?
Maria:We're making pasta el forno,Mac and cheese and salads (drinks wine) Bonnie and Caroline are going to make dessert
Stefan:Elena's going to help you?
Maria:(Laughs) only the basics (kisses the corner of his mouth) besides I'm professional and anyone under my supervision can't do no wrong
Stefan:(kisses her) hmmm I better get going before we have to cancel for real
Maria:(fake gasp) Stefan Salvatore!
He laughs and kisses her
Stefan:later?
Maria:I wouldn't have it any other way sweetness
He smirks
Stefan:Hello Elena,bye Elena (hugs her)
Maria:Hi gorgeous 
Elena:Hi (hugs her tightly) ready?
Maria:as I'll ever be... you good?
Elena nods and smiles

Damon:Smells so good in here
Maria:oh good you're here! (hands him plates) please set this out on the table
Damon:(kisses Elena) yes ma'am,hey Rih?
Maria:yeah?
Damon:try to look less worried (eats a carrot)
Maria sighs and then stifles a smile
Elena:everything's going to be fine honey
Maria:I know peaches (sigh) I know

Klaus:Smells delicious
Elena:please take your seats
Rebekah:very fancy
Bonnie:We try
Elijah:Aleksandrina I still can't get over how lovely your home is (sits)
Isaiah:Maria being OCD helps
Maria:I am not OCD (puts glasses all upright)
Kol:sure
They laugh
Stefan:Well I think everything looks great
Elena:you should see what she did to my kitchen!
Jeremy:At least we know where everything is now
Eduardo:Maria is just a clean freak
Matt:which is odd because you're a vampire and you drink blood
Isaiah:she uses a straw

After dinner everyone slowly starts to leave
Damon and Elena are cleaning up in the kitchen
Damon:I've been thinking,maybe we should do another road trip
Elena:oh?
Damon:yeah we can go with Stefan,Maria,Isaiah and Eduardo
Elena:just them?
Damon:yeah,Maria's got a Range Rover and a AMG I'm pretty sure on of those will do the job
Elena:have you even asked her?
Damon:no I haven't,look you and I can take my car and honestly I prefer Isaiah so he can ride with us
Elena:and you want to dump Eduardo with Stefan and Maria?
Damon nods
Elena:you're nice
Damon:right?!
Elena:(rolls her eyes) okay (sigh) I'll talk to Maria tomorrow
Damon:why not now?
Elena:because I think Stefan wants to have dessert now
Damon:dessert? We've already eaten... oh!!
Elena:yeah
Damon:I thought they...
Elena:nope.. Maria made him work for it!
Damon:so tonight's the first time?
Elena nods
Damon:I don't wanna know thanks..(walks to get a drink) I'm guessing we should leave then?
Elena:(nods) once the rest have gone

Klaus:I had fun tonight,thank you for another chance love
Maria:(smiles) you're welcome Niklaus
Klaus:we should do this again sometime...
Maria:I'll think about it
Kol:the food was amazing,I'll see you soon yeah?
Maria:goodnight everyone and thanks again for coming...
Rebekah:(hugs her) you are most welcome
Elijah:it's really good to be back home (hugs Maria and kisses her cheek) you take care of her Stefan!
Stefan:of course,thanks everyone (holds Maria) see you all soon

Maria waves as they climb into the car and drive off
Caroline:we're off too (hugs them) tomorrow?
Maria nods and hugs Tyler

Bonnie:I packed everything away in the kitchen,Damon and Elena are just finishing up

Maria is just finishing up in the shower when she hears a sound in her room
She grabs her robe and puts it on and slowly steps out the bathroom
Maria:Isaiah?
Stefan:Nope,Stefan..(sits on her bed)
She jumps and throws her hair towel at him and he laughs
Maria:you scared me!
Stefan:Isaiah said you'd be done by now
Maria:I am now (Closes the door) I thought you were going home?
Stefan:Not before I came to give my girlfriend a goodnight kiss
Maria:(frowns) or you could just stay here with your girlfriend
Stefan:I'm not sure if she'd approve
Maria:she would in fact I think she'd insist...
He grabs her and kisses her
Stefan:you're so beautiful you know that?
Maria:I guess (kisses his nose) I need to get dressed
Stefan:I could help you with that
She giggles as he lifts her up off the ground and throw her onto the bed
Stefan:we won't be needing this anymore (takes her robe off)
