Elena:cheer up (holds her hands)
Victoria:we still need you around... your baby is finally 1 years old tomorrow... there are better things in store for all of us

Joshua:up (he lifts his arms up so Stefan can pick him up)

Maria:oh?... that's really sweet of you (takes the glass from him)

Maria smiles and sips her drink

Maria stops the glass mid air and looks up at him confused

Maria:do you think I'm with Stefan because of Joshua?
Klaus shrugs
Maria:Niklaus a child doesn't keep people together,I love Stefan so much and he gave me the greatest gift in the universe and that's my son.. Stefan and I aren't together because of Joshua
Klaus:so you're saying everything you felt for me just vanished?
Maria:No I'm saying that I love Stefan and I'm not going to leave him... Niklaus you know that I will always love you and that won't change

Before she can finish he looks at her and she can tell he's hurt so she heads for the door
He vamps in front of her and kisses her
A tear falls down her cheek and she pushes him aside and vamps to her car,trying hard not to look back
Elijah:Hi beautiful (kisses her forehead) is everything okay?
Maria:huh? Oh (hugs him) yes everything's good I uh... I have to go and do some things before I get home
Elijah:Okay I'll stop by later then?

Joshua is sitting on the floor with his toys by the fire place
Maria:Hi
Stefan:Hey (kisses her) everything okay?
Maria:can we talk about it later?
Stefan nods and takes the stuff for Joshua's party from her and puts it down
Joshua:(looks up and sees Maria) Mommy! (He gets up and tries to run but only makes it half way)
Maria:(catches him before he falls) you did it buddy! (Kisses him all over his face)
Stefan:see his taking Damon's advice
Maria laughs and hugs Joshua tightly
Stefan sits near the fire place
Maria:I want to try something
Stefan:make another baby in front of the fire place?
Maria throws a pillow at him and laughs
Maria:(she holds Joshua up so he's standing) Joshy look at daddy (he faces Stefan) can you walk to daddy?

When Joshua is near,he jumps into Stefan's lap
They clap and laugh
Maria:okay now come back to mommy yeah

Elena:(walking in) like his father
Maria:indeed he is peaches
Stefan throws a pillow at Elena
They laugh
Elena:where do I put my nephews presents?
Maria:over there... Victoria said she'll be here at 6 to help with the decorations
Damon:you're going all out for a one year olds party? I'd like to help
Elena and Maria laugh
