First Person POV
I laugh with Tula at something she tells me. "Really?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, Y/n" she retorted, smiling sweetly at me, making my heart flutter.
A boy swims towards us, looking at Tula. "Who's that?" I ask her curiously. "Who?" She turns around and sees (seas [haha]) him. "Oh! Kaldur, this is Y/n, Y/n this is Kaldur" she says.
"Hi" I say almost inaudibly, giving an awkward little wave as my heart begins to beat faster.
He smiles politely at me before speaking, "Nice to meet you." He turns back to Tula, looking at her with a mix of emotions. Love, respect, and kindness. A small rush of envy fills me and I sigh, wishing someone--anyone could look at me like that. If only I was as perfect as Tula.
