Merry Christmas! I really wanted to write a Christmassy one shot, so yeah. Please leave one shot suggestions because I have no idea.
Ayano Aishi x Taro Yamada:
A cold December breeze could be felt in the courtyard of Akademi High by the 2 students outside. One was Taro Yamada, and the girl watching him was Ayano Aishi. She felt the cold breeze cross her bare arms, and did nothing. She looked at her senpai and took a photo of him without him even knowing. She smiled, saving it on her phone. She then had a thought. She sent the photo to Info-chan.
Ayano: see this person?
Info-chan: what about him?
Ayano: I want him for Christmas.
Info-chan: ...
Ayano smirked and put her phone away. She took another look at her senpai from behind a tree. He was reading his book by the fountain, the cold not having any effect on him.
"Senpai, go inside. You'll get sick if you stay in this for too long." She muttered, her voice not being heard by Taro. She turned back to hide behind the tree and sighed loudly.
"Is someone there?" Taro asked, looking up from his book after hearing Ayano's sigh. She came out from behind the tree awkwardly and approached Taro.
"Yeah. Sorry." She said, trying not to sound nervous. He made a small laugh and put his book down beside him.
"Don't be." He assured her. She made a small smile of relief. He wasn't mad at her for spying on him, he probably didn't realise she was. She awkwardly sat down on the fountain next to him. He started to take off his jacket when he was stopped by Ayano's voice.
"What are you doing?"
"Take my jacket, I don't want you to get cold."
"But what about you?"
"I'll be fine, don't worry." He fully took off his jacket and draped it over her shoulders. As much as she wanted to keep his jacket over herself, she worried about him getting cold far more. He was far more important than her own health in her mind.
"No. I can't take this from you. I would feel awful if you got sick because of me." She shook her head, taking off his jacket and giving it back.
"Oh... Only if your sure." He put his jacket back on, looking at the awkward girl sat beside him. Ayano didn't feel the cold as long as she was next to him. She subconsciously dipped her hand into the freezing water, pulling it out quickly. He watched her do this, laughing a little. It made her warm inside knowing she made him laugh. She wished this moment would last for eternity, but it was interrupted by the bell signalling the start of the next classes. "We should get going." He said, standing up and picking his book up from the fountain.
"Yeah..." Ayano said, masking the sadness in her voice as she also stood up. They started to walk inside together.
"It was nice talking to you... Umm..." He started to say his goodbye, before realising he hadn't asked her name. "Forgive me, but what is your name? I forgot to ask." A small blush crept across Ayano's face as he spoke. 'Such a gentleman, too good for everyone else.' She thought as she made a small laugh.
"Ayano Aishi." She introduced herself.
"Taro Yamada. Pleasure to meet you Aishi-san." He smiled at her as they headed their separate ways towards their classrooms. Ayano couldn't wipe the smile from her face as she walked. The next day was Friday. Ayano had gotten sick from sitting outside in the cold, but she refused to let that stop her from going to school. She had decided to confess to Taro that day, and nothing would stop her. She had a Christmas card in her hand, ready to slip into Taro's locker. Inside with the card was a note asking him to meet her at the cherry blossom tree before school from the school legend. Taro hadn't arrived yet, so he would see the card and the note before classes started and meet her. She left quickly and headed towards the tree.
Taro went to his locker to change into his indoor shoes, but noticed a white envelope on top of them. He opened it, keeping it out of sight from everyone. He read the card first. He was a little surprised to see it was from Ayano, the girl he had met yesterday, but was even more surprised she knew which locker was his. The only solution he could come to was Info-chan had told her. He was about to throw away the envelope when he discovered the note. He read it to himself, curiously. He hardly knew her, yet she wanted to meet him under the legendary cherry blossom tree now. Curiosity got the best of him, so he shut his locker and headed to the tree.
Ayano stood under the cherry blossom tree waiting for her senpai to arrive. She desperately hoped he would come to meet her. She felt a cold gust of wind on her arms as she coughed, and shivered a little. She was starting to give up hope when she saw a figure running towards the tree. It took her a moment to realise it was Taro. Her heart beat faster as he got closer to her. He arrived at the tree and smiled nicely at her.
"So... What did you want to talk about?" He asked nicely, smiling innocently at the dark haired girl. She took her hands from behind her back, revealing a white envelope with a sparkly red heart seal. She closed her eyes and handed it to him nervously. She had written down her confession, which was inside the envelope. Her heart felt like it was about to explode inside of her as he silently read the letter. Another cold gust of wind crossed the pair, causing Ayano to shiver.
"You feel this way?" He asked, looking up from the letter after he had finished reading. She nodded her head weakly. He almost immediately noticed she was very pale and weak, as if she was about to pass out. "I accept your confession." He said, taking off his jacket quickly and putting it over the sick girls shoulders. She smiled softly, and tried to embrace him. "Go home, Ayano. You're sick." He instructed, scooping her up bridal style and carrying her towards the exit. "I'll take care of you."
