Kokona Haruka x Saki Miyu:

"I... I have a crush on Taro." Kokona admitted to her best friend Saki. They were stood on the school rooftop in private overlooking the confession tree. The teal-haired girl felt her heart break when she made her admission. Saki had a crush on Kokona, but almost didn't want to let it show until now.
"I have a confession too." Saki blurted out. Kokona looked at her, a little confused. Saki took a deep breath before making her confession. "I have a crush on you, Kokona." She admitted loudly and quickly, blushing heavily.
"Oh..." Kokona sighed. She wasn't oblivious to Saki's feelings, as she wasn't very good at hiding them. She had known Saki had a crush on her for a while.
"I-I know you have a crush on Taro, so I don't mind if you want to be with him." Saki said, quickly. She knew this meant Saki wouldn't be able to get with Kokona, but she wanted to see her best friend happy. "I'll always be here for you, Kokona." The purple haired girl smiled and gave her a hug.
"You're the best, Saki." Kokona said as Saki hugged back. Her heart ached a little at the word 'friend', but she couldn't do anything about it. All she could do was hope she eventually got over her crush on Taro, and fall in love with her.

Saki decided to spend her lunch alone that day. She was still heartbroken over Kokona. She was sat alone in an empty storage room, tears streaming down her cheeks as she quietly sobbed. She felt someone place their arm around her, which scared her a little as she thought she was alone. She saw a dark haired girl known as Ayano sat next to her, comforting her.
"Why are you crying, Saki?" She asked, almost emotionlessly. Saki wiped her tears, looking at Ayano.
"Kokona rejected my love confession." She said, sadly. Ayano sighed a little, comforting Saki more.
"You must hate her now." Ayano murmured, lightly stroking Saki's hair. Ayano wasn't the comforting type, but she would do whatever it took to win senpai's heart.
"Oh, no. Not at all." Saki shook her head quickly, internally annoying Ayano. "She's my best friend, and I'll always be there for her, even if my love for her is unrequited." She said. Ayano made a small growl. She removed a tranquilliser from her pocket, and suddenly injected it into Saki. She wanted to make Saki hate Kokona so much that she would be willing to kill her. That way, Ayano could eliminate her rival without getting a single drop of blood on her hands.

As Saki's eyes opened, she looked around the unfamiliar room. Her body was tied to a chair, so she couldn't escape or move.
"H-help!" Saki called out. She felt a cold hand cover her mouth, preventing anything more than muffled cries coming out of Saki.
"If I were you, I'd shut up." Ayano growled, using her other hand to put a knife to Saki's neck. Saki stopped trying to yell, instead whimpering in fear. Ayano smirked, removing the knife and starting to cut Saki's wrists and arms while she cried out in pain. Once Saki's arms were drenched in her own blood, she stopped and put down the knife. "Tell me, Saki. How much do you hate Kokona?" Ayano asked threateningly. Saki shook her head in fear.
"I-I don't hate Kokona." Saki stuttered, fear filling every part of her body. Ayano tutted, shaking her head.
"I guess I hadn't tortured you enough, then." Ayano smirked, retrieving a box from the corner of the room and placing it on Saki's lap. Inside the box was several syringes, each one filled with a different, mysterious substance. Ayano smirked as she chose one and injected it into Saki's forearm.

Ayano re-entered the basement, and found Saki twitching. She was still in the chair, having been mercilessly tortured by Ayano for 18 hours the day before. She looked up, shaking her head slightly.
"No... not again..." she murmured sadly. Ayano didn't say anything as she removed a vial of bleach from behind her back.
"Do you know the consequences of drinking bleach, Saki?" Ayano asked emotionlessly. Saki shook her head, her eyes widened with fear when she realised what was in the vial. "Do you want to find out?" Ayano hissed angrily. Saki shook her head fiercely, but Ayano didn't care. She forced Saki's head up and poured the vial into her mouth. She held up Saki's head until she swallowed the bleach. "The point of that was to make you suffer as much as possible without the physical damage being visible." She said, throwing the vial at the wall and watched it shatter. She grabbed one of Saki's teal pigtails and wrapped it around her neck. "This is all Kokona's fault. If it wasn't for her, none of this would be happening." Ayano said, choking Saki with her own hair for a few seconds.
"Why haven't you killed me yet, coward." Saki spat once Ayano had stopped choking her in a moment of defiance. Her voice was raspy, but fearful.
"If I wanted you dead," Ayano started, pulling Saki's hair so she was looking at her. "I would've done it already." She smirked. "Don't you think it was rude to call me a coward? She said emotionlessly. She walked away for a moment, returning with a length of wire. She began beating Saki with it relentlessly.

Kokona sat on the fountain, watching as an occasional tear fell into the water. It had been a week since Saki had disappeared, and Kokona missed her terribly.
"Where did you go, Saki?" Kokona asked herself quietly. Nobody around her could hear what she said. "Would you still be here if I accepted your love confession? Is it my fault, Saki?" She cried out as more tears fell from her eyes. She had realised she had romantic feelings for Saki in the week she was being tortured by Ayano. She heard the faint sounds of footsteps approaching her. She turned around and saw Saki. Kokona looked into her eyes and realised it wasn't Saki. It was a monster with Saki's appearance. "S-Saki?" Kokona asked hesitantly, stepping closer to the broken Saki. The mindslave tackled Kokona to the ground and started brutally stabbing her. "I'm... sorry... Saki..." Kokona said with her last breaths before she died. Saki took the knife and put it into her throat, ending her own life. Her body collapsed next to Kokona's, her non-biological sister and crush. They were to be reunited in heaven, where they would spend eternity together.
