Riku Soma x Kokona Haruka:

5 years ago:

"Thank you so much for helping my dad." Kokona said softly, putting her arms around Riku. They were stood outside the Ronshaku Loans waiting for Kokona's dad to come outside after his debt had been fully paid off.
"You're welcome, babe." He told her, putting his arms around her and giving her a kiss. He had given her father the money to clear the debt after he found out Kokona engaged in compensated dating to help her father.
"I really appreciate it." She murmured. He laughed a little and kissed her forehead. She giggled a little, breaking out of the hug and kissing him on the lips.
"Good news." Kokona's father cheered as he stood with the pair. "The debt is clear." He almost shouted in excitement. Kokona also cheered, wrapping her arms around her father. Riku stood back a little and watched his girlfriend finally be happy. Now Kokona could stop going on compensated dates to get money.

Present Day:

"Can't believe it's been 5 years since we got together." Riku said as he and Kokona cuddled together. They had moved into their own house together, and were very happy in their relationship.
"I know." She agreed, blushing slightly. "I have a surprise for you." She told him, breaking out of the hug and getting up. She returned with something in her hand a minute later.
"What you got there?" He asked, sitting up. She giggled a little and sat down beside him, showing him the item in her hand. "You're... you're pregnant?" He asked in surprise, his voice a mix of shock and happiness. She nodded her head, giggling. In her hand was a positive pregnancy test.
"You're gonna be a dad." She said happily, putting her arms around him. He was speechless as he hugged her back, replacing words with kisses.

The next day, Kokona's father came over to visit. They had invited him over so they could give him the big news about her pregnancy.
"Daddy, I left something in the oven would you get it for me?" She asked in a slightly whiny voice. He gave her a very confused look.
"Why?" He asked. She and Riku looked at each other, trying not to laugh.
"Please just do it." She whined louder. He sighed and stood up. He left the room as Kokona and Riku tried not to laugh.

There's only a bun in here." Kokona's dad said loudly as Kokona and Riku stood in the kitchen doorway together. It was becoming more difficult to not burst into laughter.
"Wait for it..." Riku told her before she could say anything. They stood in silence until Kokona's father figured it out.
"Kokona, are you pregnant?" He finally asked as he eventually realised why there was a bun in the oven. She and Riku began to laugh as she nodded her head. Her father looked down at her hand, then disapprovingly at Riku.
"Is something wrong, dad?" She asks a little hesitantly. He nodded his head, almost staring coldly at Riku.
"I don't see a ring in her finger." He said a little disapprovingly. "I want to see a ring in her finger before the baby comes." He was firm, but had a glimmer in his eye. They couldn't tell if he was joking or not.
"I can't promise a wedding ring, sir." He said, taking hold of Kokona's hand. "I will propose to her before if that makes you happy, only with your blessing of course." He promised to Kokona's father. The older man nodded his head, smirking.
"Good." Kokona smiled and let go of Riku's hand to give her father a hug. The older man hugged back. "Your mother would be proud of you." He told her quietly. She made a small smile as she hugged him tighter. She never imagined her life would wind up like this a few years ago.
