Male! Amai Odayaka x Ayano Aishi:

Sugar, spice and all things nice.

That's what girls are believed to be made from. In most cases at Akademi High school, that was true. One of the only exceptions was Ayano Aishi.

That phrase probably suited Amai Odayaka the best out of everyone in the school. He was the leader of the cooking club. He was one of the nicest students in the school, and loved sharing everything he made. He didn't really care what other students thought of him, even if they made comments calling him a girl. In his mind, being a female isn't an insult.

He was walking around the school carrying a plate of cupcakes he'd just iced, offering one to everyone he saw. He hoped to see Ayano as he went. He didn't admit it, but he had a crush on Ayano. He had ever since they met at the start of the school year. Eventually, he saw her.
"Ayano!" He called her name a little too loudly, carefully running towards her. She turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. He nearly tripped, but managed to avoid falling or sending the cupcakes flying on to her. "Ayano! Take one!" He painted, catching his breath. He didn't run very often, and wasn't exactly the best athletically. She awkwardly took a cupcake and bit into it.
"Mmm. This is really good Amai." Ayano smiled, taking another bite of cupcake. Amai's cheeks turned red as she complemented his food.
"You like it?" He asked. She nodded her head, trying not to laugh a little. "That's great. Maybe I'll make you some more." Amai wasn't very good at covering his obvious crush on Ayano. The only person oblivious to his feelings was Ayano.
"Yeah, maybe." She said, shrugging her shoulders. Amai blushed and ran away before things became any more awkward between him and Ayano.

"You should just confess." Saki said, sitting in the cooking club after school with Amai and Kokona. It was after school, and the rest of the club hadn't shown up yet.
"Yeah. I'm sure she'd accept." Kokona agreed. Amai shrugged his shoulders, doubting himself. He didn't know if Ayano would accept, and would feel humiliated if she rejected him. He didn't want to be humiliated or rejected.
"We'll help you." Saki insisted as she and Kokona dragged Amai into the kitchen area to begin their plan to get Amai and Ayano together.

The next day, Ayano walked into school by herself. She heard someone shouting her name behind her as she walked towards her locker.
"Ayano!" She turned around and saw Saki and Kokona running towards her. They both grabbed one of her hands each and started pulling her to the cooking club.

Inside the cooking club was Amai. He was waiting nervously for Ayano to arrive with Saki and Kokona. In his hands was a cake he was going to give to her. Eventually, she arrived.
"Here." He said, holding out the cake to her. On the cake he'd iced the words 'Will you be my girlfriend Ayano?'. His cheeks blushed almost as red as the iced roses on top of the cake. He tried to stop his hands shaking from the nervousness as he waited for her answer.
"Yes." She said after reading the words on the cake. He put the cake down on the counter and wrapped his arms around her. She laughed a little, hugging him back.
