137: The School Dance

Alyssa (GinnyHermionePotter ) x Ryusei Koki:

"Are you going to the dance Friday, Alyssa?" Cupa asked as she sat down beside her friend. They were sat in the library before class. Alyssa looked up from her book at her friend, shrugging her shoulders.
"I don't think so." She said a little shyly. Cupa made a small sigh as she took a drink from her water bottle.
"That's a shame. Are you sure you don't want to come with me?" She asked. Alyssa shrugged her shoulders as she put her book down to look at her friend. "Please? It will be fun, I promise."
"Fine, but only for a little while." She sighed. Alyssa already knew Cupa would've kept pestering her about it until she said yes. Cupa grinned as she took out her phone from her bag.
"Yay. Thank you."

That Friday, both girls sat in Cupa's bedroom getting ready for the dance. Alyssa sat on the floor brushing her hair while Cupa did her makeup.
"So... do you have a date?" Alyssa asked, looking up at her. She smirked as she finished blending in her makeup.
"Kinda." She said. Alyssa continued looking at her, silently asking her to explain. "Budo asked me to go with him so he could challenge me to a dance off." She said, making both girls laugh.
"He doesn't stand a chance." Alyssa laughed. Budo had been saying he would beat Cupa in a dance battle since they'd first met. Both girls knew he didn't stand a chance against Cupa, who'd been competitively dancing since she was 6 years old.
"Yeah. Do you have a date?" Cupa asked, putting the attention on to Alyssa. She shrugged her shoulders as she looked back at the mirror in front of her.
"No, but I do have a crush on Ryusei." She admitted, blushing slightly. "I wish I had asked him to the dance." Cupa smirked as she continued perfecting her makeup. She wanted to get her friend with her crush, and tonight was the night she would make that happen.

Alyssa stood in the heavily decorated gym watching the dance battle between Cupa and Budo. Cupa was clearly winning, she and everyone else at the dance could see. She occasionally looked away from the dance at Ryusei, blushing slightly. As the song and the dance battle ended, the group of students started to disperse. Cupa didn't go straight to her, instead disappearing to talk to someone else. Alyssa was a very shy person, and didn't feel comfortable being surrounded by people she wasn't close to without her closest friend.

Cupa immediately went and found Ryusei after beating Budo in the dance off. She wanted him to ask Alyssa to dance with him.
"Ryusei! Can you do me a favour, please?" Cupa asked sweetly, batting her eyelashes at him. He sighed and nodded his head.
"What do you want me to do?" He sighed a little.
"Go and ask Alyssa to dance." She told him. He sighed and nodded his head. He thought she was cute, but didn't say anything to her.
"Fine." He said, walking away and over to the shy girl.

"Can I ask you something?" Ryusei asked as he walked over to Alyssa. She looked up at him, blushing intensely. She nodded slowly, her voice almost stuck in her throat. "Can I have this dance?" He asked as he stretched his hand out to her. She nodded slowly, nodding her head and placing her hand into his. He lead her out on to the dance floor to dance with her. Neither of them spoke as they danced to the slow song. They didn't need to. At the end of the song, he gave her a passionate kiss. Her face turned bright red as she kissed back. "Would you like to go somewhere more quiet and talk?" He asked. She nodded his head as he led her out of the gym.
