Holy shit. Part 200. I never expected this when I first started this one shot book. As it is part 200, I wanted to do something special. I wrote a one shot a while ago called 'I Should've Believed You', but I put it into its own book. I desperately want to give it a sequel, and came to 2 different ideas. Here's the one I'm not using.

Budo Masuta x Oka Ruto:

Tears fell down from Budo's eyes as he stared sadly at the ceiling. He held Oka's diary close to his chest.
"Oka..." he murmured sadly, not moving a muscle. There was no words for how badly Budo wanted her here now.

She had been sadistically murdered by the Basu sisters to silence her after she found out their dirty little secret. She'd believed they were demons for a while, but she had found out the truth about them being demons. They had kidnapped her and mercilessly tortured her until the wounds finally killed her. She died in his arms. He couldn't get over the guilt of not being able to save her. He had been past the occult club room that day when they were holding her prisoner. If he'd just broken down that door instead of walking away he could've saved her. Now he would never have the happy future he'd longed for. In all of Budo's dreams, he and Oka had gotten married, had children and spent the rest of their long and happy lives together. If only he could just turn back the time and save her.

The next day he finally went back to school. He hadn't been able to since Oka's death. He idly walked around, eventually finding himself outside the occult club room. The doors had been locked, because the club had shut down after Oka's murder inside that room. It was a crime scene so nobody was allowed in. A small memorial had been placed outside the room for Oka, which consisted of a framed photo, a couple of candles, some flowers and notes written by other students. He broke down at it into uncontrollable crying. Students gave him sympathetic looks, some rubbed his back and told him it will get better. He didn't believe them. It would never be better now she was dead and gone. He continued to mourn her until he heard a voice.
"There's a chance to turn back the time." He looked up in shock, seeing Kaga Kusha stood behind him. Kaga was leader of the science club, and had been working on something that could change the past. Kaga helped him up and lead him to the science club room to show him what he was on about.

"This can take you back to any specific point in time so you can change what happened. The only downside is that you will be trapped there forever." Kaga warned. Budo didn't hesitate when agreeing.
"That doesn't matter. I'd do whatever it takes to save her!" He insisted. He knew he would take his place and would be trapped in the past, but it meant that he had a chance to save Oka. He didn't care what it would do the the current present day.
"Very well. Good luck, Budo." Kaga told him as he activated the machine that would take Budo back to the past. The martial artist closed his eyes and felt himself going back to the past.

He opened his eyes and looked around. He was sat on a bench on the school roof. Rested on his lap was a bento. This seemed familiar to him. He looked at his watch and made a small smile. It was the day of Oka's death before it happened. This was when he made his first mistake in his mind.
"Budo!" He looked up, seeing Oka sprinting towards him. He remembered this. He could clearly see the fear and desperation in her eyes alone. She threw herself beside him, and he could feel her shaking.
"Oka? What's wrong?" He already knew, but he felt like he had to ask. It would look a little suspicious if he already knew.
"I-it's true... The B-Basu sisters... They're d-d-demons." Oka stuttered. She rested on him as he put his arms around her comfortingly. She was still very shaky.
"You think so?" He asked a little hesitantly. He already knew the truth, but wanted to know what she saw that made her so petrified. A small tear ran down her cheek as she spoke.
"I-I saw it... they're demons..." she made a small sob as he held her tighter. Before she could say anything else, they were approached by the Basu sisters. Budo desperately tried to not stand up and break both of their necks after knowing what they had done, or what they would do, to Oka.
"Hi Budo! Hi Oka!" They said cheerfully in unison. He could feel Oka holding him tighter, obviously afraid of them.
"Hey..." he put on a fake smile as he spoke to them. He hadn't been given a reason to hate them at this specific point in time, but he still hated them anyway. He obviously couldn't let his hatred show.
"What's wrong Oka?" Inkyu asked, noticing how scared she was. She shook her head, holding Budo even tighter and refusing to look at them.
"We'll talk to you later!" Sakyu said cheerfully as she took Inkyu's hand and pulled her away from the pair. Oka let him go and brushed away her tears with the back of her hand.
"I'm sorry... you probably don't believe me..." she murmured. Budo hated seeing her so sad. He gently took hold of her shoulders and made her look up at him.
"I believe you, Oka." She smiled a little and hugged him. He hugged back, gently rubbing her back. "I'll protect you from any demon." He murmured. She smiled softly as she rested her head against his muscular chest. He made her feel safe, something he hadn't known.
