111: His Regret, Her Broken Heart

Ayano Aishi x Osana Najimi:

"I accept your confession, Ayano."

It had been a few months since Ayano had confessed her feelings to Taro, and Ayano had never been happier.
"I'll speak to you later, Osana. Love you Ayano." Taro said, kissing his girlfriend's cheek. Her cheeks turned pink as a small smile appeared on her face. Osana rolled her eyes, seeing how lovestruck Ayano was.
"Bye babe." Ayano said as he walked out of the courtyard. He often disappeared before class, at lunch or after school. He seemed like he always had somewhere else to be. Osana already knew where he was going.
"Ayano I have to show you something." Osana said to her. They had become closer since Ayano had started dating Taro. She took the dark haired girl's hand, pulling her in the same direction as Taro.

Taro headed to the rooftop quickly, heading to the secluded spot out of everyone else's eyesight. Waiting for him was Kizana.
"Hey babe." Kizana said, wrapping her arms around him. He smirked, putting his arms around her waist.
"Hello beautiful." He smirked seductively. Seconds later, their lips met in a passionate kiss. He had been cheating on Ayano with Kizana for most of their relationship, but she didn't know. He had told her he went to the library to study in silence, and she believed him.
"I love you." Kizana said as they broke the kiss for the moment. Taro smiled, pressing her closer to him.
"I love you." He repeated, kissing her again. He didn't really love Ayano as much as she loved him. He felt almost obliged to accept her confession, and make her his girlfriend. Their kiss was broken off by the sound of a voice.
"T-Taro?" Ayano stuttered, seeing her boyfriend passionately kiss another girl. Her heart was broken. Taro and Kizana turned to look at her as tears streamed down her pale cheeks.
"It's not what it looks like." Taro said, convincing nobody. Stood next to Ayano was Osana. She had known Taro was cheating on her, and felt awful.
"Why did you do it, Taro?" She cried. Kizana looked at Ayano, a little confused. She didn't know Taro was in a relationship with Ayano, and probably didn't care.
"Honestly, I don't love you, Ayano." He said coldly. Her heart shattered more with his words. Her body shook violently, and she felt like she was either going to throw up or pass out. Osana supported most of her weight as she nearly fell over.
"W-why?" Was all Ayano managed to say, before she ran away. Osana looked at her childhood friend angrily. Osana had developed feelings for Ayano, and she hated that Taro had just broken her heart.
"That was low, Taro." Osana scolded him, before going to find Ayano. Taro felt a little bit guilty, but didn't care too much. Ayano would've found out sooner or later, anyway.
"What was that about?" Kizana asked out of Osana's earshot. Taro shrugged his shoulders, and he and Kizana continued making out.

Osana heart the faint sound of sobbing coming from a storage room, and recognised it as Ayano. She opened the door, and found Ayano sobbing in the corner. Osana sat down beside her, pulling the heartbroken girl closer.
"I-it hurts, Osana." Ayano sobbed into her chest. The ginger made a small sigh as she comfortingly stroked Ayano's black hair.
"I know, sweetie." She said gently. They sat in silence as Ayano sobbed more.
"I-I love you O-Osana." Ayano murmured, still sad. Osana was a little surprised, but happy. Ayano looked up at Osana, and gave her a small kiss on the lips. Osana smiled a little and gave Ayano a more passionate kiss.
"I love you, Ayano. Taro didn't deserve you." She said. Ayano looked like she didn't believe her, but Osana expected that. The dark haired girl was broken, and Osana was determined to fix her, the girl she loved.
