154: Faster

Asu Rito & Osoro Shidesu:

"Asu!" Osoro shouted to the blonde about to run past her on the track. She stopped and walked over to her.
"What do you want, Osoro?" She asked with her usual peppiness. Osoro leant against the wall staring at her.
"I want to race you." She said coldly. Asu tried not to laugh as she nodded her head.
"Sure. Meet me at the track today at 4:30." She said as a small laugh escaped. Osoro made a small growl but nodded her head anyway.
"Fine."

Asu and Osoro stood at the top of the track, stretching and warming up. It was almost 4:30, almost the start of their race.
"You ready to go down?" Osoro muttered to her competition as they waited to start at the top of the track. Asu laughed a little.
"Are you?" She replied, smirking. Osoro rolled her eyes before the sports club second leader began the race.
"On your marks... get set... go!" The sports club second leader shouted. Osoro immediately sprinted ahead of Asu, who was pacing herself. She looked back, almost laughing.
"Keep up Asu!" She shouted as she kept running. Asu just laughed, she knew what would happen even before it did. Osoro kept running down the track until she began to tire out just over halfway. She kept running, but not as fast as before. Asu laughed as she caught up to Osoro, still at the same speed.
"You tired?" She laughed jokingly as she ran past her. Osoro growled and tried to sprint after her. Asu smiled as she watched the finishing line with a reasonable gap between herself and Osoro. She made one final push and crossed the line with ease.

"The winner is Asu!" The sports club deputy announced, raising her hand as the club cheered. She had a wide smile on her face as she ran a hand through her short blonde hair. Osoro looked extremely mad at herself for allowing herself to be beat by Asu.
"Good race, Osoro. I thought you were going to beat me at one point." She laughed as she walked over to the delinquent leader. Osoro laughed a little.
"I just let you win." She huffed. Asu laughed again as she put her arm over Osoro's shoulders.
"Sure you did." She laughed. Osoro folded her arms and groaned. "If you want to win next time, let me train you." She offered. Osoro thought about her offer.
"Could be helpful running from the pigs..." she muttered to herself before looking back up at Asu. "I guess we have a deal." She said, holding her hand out. Asu grinned and shook it.
"Great. I'll talk to you later." She said as she jogged back to the track to begin a club activity with her sports club members. Osoro watched them from the distance, lost in thought. 'Maybe it will be interesting having a friend who isn't a delinquent...'
