157: A Secret Affair

Au! Master! Male! Megami Saiko x Maid! Ayano Aishi:

Ayano sighed as she continued scrubbing the floor, her dark hair falling in front of her face. She worked as a maid for Megami Saiko, but got paid very little even though Megami was loaded. He didn't seem to care, however. She knew they could never be together, his family would never approve. That didn't stop their secret relationship. When they were alone, they flirted and were romantic towards each other.

"I think I know how we could be together." Megami murmured one day. Ayano had been cleaning his office when he said that. She looked up at him, silently telling him to continue. "I am betrothed to marry a Miss. Kizana Sunobu on Friday. If something bad happened to her, my parents would allow me to marry a woman of my choosing." He told her.
"What do you mean by 'something bad'?" Ayano asked a little hesitantly. Megami ushered her closer, and she complied.
"I know what you're really like, Aishi. Kill Kizana, she's in our way." He whispered into her ear. She nodded her head a little hesitantly. She wasn't completely against the idea of murdering Kizana, maybe that was a problem. It wouldn't matter once she and Megami were happy together.
"Consider it done."

That Friday, Ayano was told to wait on Kizana before they got married. She had to do everything that snobby drama queen demanded from her. She hated it, but she would do whatever it took to be with Megami.
"Bring me more champagne, peasant." Kizana demanded. Ayano frowned and left the room. She put some lethal poison into the drink before giving it to Kizana silently. The snobby girl pushed her away before downing the drink. She was oblivious to the poison in the drink. About a minute later, she began to choke. Ayano left the room, leaving Kizana to die alone.

"So. You actually did it." Megami said to Ayano quietly later that day. Kizana's body had been found, and the police had been called. The investigation was currently taking place.
"Now we can be happy." Ayano murmured. Megami shook his head, laughing a little.
"I know what you're really like, Ayano. I know you'd kill for me if I promised to make you my bride, but I don't want to be with you." He smirked as he stood up. "Officer, I have proof that miss. Aishi committed the murder of miss. Sunobu." He told the officer. Ayano gasped in shock as the officer cuffed her.
"N-no... Megami-kun..." she stuttered sadly, tears streaming down her pale cheeks. He scoffed, staring at her.
"That's blatantly disrespectful, Aishi. I told you to address me as Saiko-san." He lied in a scolding tone. "Officer, I have photo evidence of miss. Aishi poisoning the drink that she gave to miss. Sunobu." She told them, showing something on the phone.
"Miss Aishi. You are under arrest for the murder of miss. Kizana Sunobu." An officer told her as she was lead out of the room. The last thing she saw was Megami kissing another girl with short, dark hair.
