60: Developing Feelings

Suggested by GlitchedMistake This one shot is set in Akademi and they are both students.

Jay (That Dude) x Alex (YandereDev):

Jay and Alex shared a unique bond. Neither of them had a class to attend, so they spent class time in the computer lab. Alex was a skilled programmer, who spent his time developing a game while Jay often play-tested the game.

One day, Alex and Jay were chilling out in the computer lab working on their parts of the game.
"You have no idea how thankful I am to you, Jay." Alex muttered loud enough for Jay to hear. A small smile and a blush crossed his face.
"It's nothing, don't worry." Jay smiled. A small blush crossed Alex's face, but it was less obvious than Jay's.
"Let me show you how thankful I am." He smirked, suddenly kissing Jay on the lips. He was surprised, but happily kissed him back. As they broke apart, Alex had a shocked look on his face. "P-please don't tell Mai what happened." He said in shock as they both simultaneously remembered Alex was dating Mai Waifu.
"I won't tell, don't worry." Jay smiled. Alex made a sigh of relief as they continued doing their tasks in silence. What neither of them knew was they had been witnessed by someone who hardcore ships Alex and Jay.

At lunch, Alex went to the rooftop to meet Mai like usual. She was normally delighted to see him, but today was different. She looked furious.
"Hey Mai." Alex said cheerfully. She looked at him furiously and slapped him.
"Don't you dare 'hey Mai' me. Care to explain this?" She snapped, pulling out her phone. On the phone was a photo of Alex kissing Jay in the computer lab.
"Mai, I'm really sorry." He apologised, sighing deeply. Mai shook her head, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Forget it. We're over, Alex." She snapped, wiping away the tear and walking away, leaving him frozen in shock and sadness.

Jay was sitting by the fountain eating his lunch when he received an anonymous text message.
???: The one you love really needs you right now. He's on the rooftop by himself.
Jay immediately felt a wave of worry cross his body. He packed everything up and ran to the rooftop. The one he loved needed him, and he felt he just had to be there.

Jay ran to the rooftop and saw Alex on the floor. He had his back to Jay, but he could tell Alex was crying. He didn't hesitate to sit down beside him and embrace him.
"She broke up with me." Alex murmured, very upset. Jay sighed and rubbed his back comfortingly. "She found out about the kiss." He continued sadly. Jay held Alex tighter as he cried.
"Don't worry, you have me." Jay comforted. Alex nodded his head and broke away from Jay, only to pull him closer and kiss him on the lips.
