119: The Love Notes

Budo Masuta x Oka Ruto x Osoro Shidesu:

Tuesday 14th February 2017:

Oka woke up and looked around her empty bedroom. She had been woken up by the sound of purring. She looked over, and saw Shadow, her kitten, laying next to her. She almost couldn't believe it had been a month since she'd adopted the kitten.
"Morning kitty." She murmured, sitting up and stroking it. The kitten only purred louder as it was lightly petted by Oka. She looked down at her arms, seeing the faint lines that were still there from when she had self harmed. She hadn't done it in weeks, but the marks were still there. A small reminder of the hell her life had been in the past. That was over now. She stood up and looked at her reflection in the mirror. The bruises had almost faded from when Ayano had tortured her, but she almost didn't notice. Ayano was in prison, she couldn't hurt her now. She smiled a little before heading into the bathroom.

At school, the first thing she did was went to her locker to change her shoes. She opened the locker and a small pink letter fell out of it. Her heart skipped a beat, remembering the last time she'd receive a note in her locker. She hesitantly opened it, and was relieved to see it was in the shape of a heart, and the handwriting was Budo's.
Oka:
I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all you're yet to be. Happy Valentine's Day.

Oka saw the note and smiled. A light pink blush appeared on her cheek that stayed with her as she changed her shoes and walked to the occult club.

Inside the occult club room was Shin and Nemesis. Oka had barely spoken to him after he betrayed her, and she didn't intend to speak to him other than when she had to. He had destroyed their relationship, and she could never forgive him.
"Happy Valentine's Day Oka!" Shin said, hugging her. It was like he had forgotten what had happened between them.
"Get off me, Shin." Oka demanded. He held her tighter, completely ignoring her request. Oka looked over to Nemesis, who quickly pulled him off of her.
"That's enough, Shin." Nemesis said coldly. They started at each other for a moment before he sulked out of the room. Oka sighed, watching him go. She despised him now, but she couldn't throw him out of the club. "Shin left you that, incase you want it." Nemesis said, pointing at the pile on Shin's chair. On the chair was a large teddy bear, and an envelope. She opened the envelope and read the message inside the card.
Oka
I'm so, so sorry. I know what I did was unforgivable, but I want the chance to make it right. I hate not having you as a best friend.
Shin.
Oka sighed and put the card down. Nemesis walked over to her, gently taking the card from her and reading it to herself.
"Are you going to forgive him?" Nemesis asked. Oka shrugged her shoulders, not knowing what she was going to do. Moments later, the door opened and the rest of her club members walked in. She put on a smile, acting completely normal.

That lunch, Budo, Oka and Osoro sat on the school rooftop together. Osoro had Oka sat on her lap, and Budo had his arm around the delinquent leader. They were sharing their lunches with each other.
"Any plans tonight, ladies?" Budo asked. Oka and Osoro shook their heads, looking at him. He smiled a little at both of his girlfriends. "Good. I've got dinner reservations at that new restaurant that just opened. I can't remember what it's called, though." Oka squeaked with excitement, making Osoro and Budo laugh a little.
"I think I know where you're on about. I've heard about that place, it's supposed to be the best place in town." Osoro grinned, putting an arm around Oka.
"I brought you guys gifts, but I'll give them to you there." Budo said. Oka nodded her head in agreement, while Osoro looked down at her bag. She'd brought gifts for Budo and Oka, but she decided to save them for later too.
"That's good. I love you guys." Oka said softly, leaning back on Osoro's chest. The delinquent laughed, giving Oka a quick kiss on the forehead.
"We love you too, Oka." Budo and Osoro said in unison. She giggled lightly, making her partners laugh.

Osoro stood by the cherry blossom tree after lunch, not bothering to go to class. She had a pink note in her hand. She had found it in her bag and assumed it was from either Budo or Oka. She opened it and smiled to herself as she read it.
Osoro.
I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you. Happy Valentine's Day.

She smiled to herself as she put the note in her bag. She sat down, laying back on the grass and watching the cherry blossom petals fall around her. She felt calm, allowing herself to daydream of Budo and Oka.

That evening, Oka stood in her club room waiting for Shin to arrive. She wanted to talk to him, having decided what to do. He walked in, smiling at Oka.
"Can we talk, Shin?" Oka asked shyly. He nodded his head and closed the door behind him. "I want to talk about what happened." She stated. He sat down on his chair in thought.
"I want things to go back to how they used to be, Oka." Shin sighed. Oka shook her head gently, looking at him.
"It can never be what it was, Shin." She sighed. "What you did was unforgivable, but I want to be friends with you again." She said. He nodded his head, looking up at her. He had a small smile on his face as he stood up.
"I'd like that very much." He said, putting his arms around her. She didn't hug him back like she used to. He noticed this, and it was upsetting to him. He sighed internally as he let her go so she could allow the rest of the club into the room.

That evening, Budo stood outside the restaurant, waiting patiently for Oka and Osoro to arrive. He was wearing a white shirt with black trousers and formal shoes. He had gotten dressed up for this date with his 2 favourite ladies. He had gone the extra mile tonight. Not only was it Valentine's Day, but yesterday was their one month anniversary. They hadn't done much, instead deciding to celebrate today. He smiled as he saw them approaching in the distance. Oka was wearing a long sleeved black dress with fishnet tights and black converse. Osoro was wearing a black dress with a pair of converse and black ripped jeans. To him they were the most beautiful girls on the planet. He ran over to them and embraced the both of them. They laughed and embraced him back before he lead them to the restaurant.

"This is really nice." Oka said, taking another bite from her halibut. Osoro nodded her head, eating a piece of her steak. "How's your steaks, guys?" She asked. Budo and Osoro had both ordered steaks, while Oka had halibut.
"This is really good. I'm so glad you got a reservation, Budo." Osoro said, smiling. He nodded his head, smirking proudly.
"So am I." He said happily. They continued eating until their plates were clear. Budo reached for the bags by his feet as the waiter removed their empty plates from the table. "I brought you these." He said, passing the girl's their bags. Budo had brought each of them a hematite heart necklace, as well as black designer hoodies in their sizes.
"I brought you these, also." Osoro said, presenting their gifts to them. She had brought Budo some chocolates and a large container of his favourite hair gel while she had brought Oka a large black plush cat that was almost the size of her. The small occult club president sighed, looking at the gifts her boyfriend and girlfriend had given her. "Oka what's wrong?" Osoro asked, seeing her girlfriend's upset face.
"You guys brought me such nice stuff, and I couldn't afford to buy either of you anything." She complained. She felt awful. Budo pulled her on to his lap, consoling her.
"I don't mind, Oka." He said comfortingly. "I'd rather have you here than a present from you." He murmured into her ear. She sighed and leant back on his chest as he cuddled her.

Later that evening, Budo, Osoro and Oka were sat on Oka's sofa cuddling and watching Netflix. Everything was calm in that moment. Osoro yawned a little, before looking at her partners. Budo was starting to fall asleep, and Oka was already fast asleep on Osoro's lap. She smiled a little, kissing her forehead.
"We should go to bed." Osoro said, nudging Budo. He looked over at Oka, nodding his head. Osoro stood up, making sure not to disturb Oka as she slept in her arms. Budo also stood up as they headed to Oka's bedroom. They had put on their pyjamas as soon as they had gotten back to Oka's from their date.
"I love you, Osoro." Budo said, leaning over Oka to kiss Osoro's lips. She blushed a tiny bit as she kissed back. Osoro put Oka on the bed next to Budo, who was already on the bed, before laying down next to her. Shadow the kitten jumped up on to the bed and curled up next to Osoro's feet.
"I love you." They both heard Oka say gently in her sleep. They both smiled, putting their arms around her. They closed their eyes and fell asleep together.
