Supana Churu & Oka Ruto:

Supana walked through the corridor on her first day at Akademi high school. She was excited and also a little nervous. She used to get bullied in her old school, as she wasn't like the other girls. She liked gothic things, and the colour black. People called her strange, but she prefers the word quirky. She turned the corner and saw a group of taller students making fun of a smaller girl. The girl looked like she needed sleep, and also looked like she was interested in gothic stuff like her.
"Emo freak." One of the bullies spat, shoving her and forced her to the ground. The books in her hand scattered everywhere, and Supana saw they were similar to the types of books she read.
"Why don't you just kill yourself." Another suggested, making the group minus their victim laugh. Tears leaked out of the small girl's eyes, but she didn't move.
"Stop!" Supana yelled, marching over to the group. They turned to look at her, and started laughing again.
"Oh look. It's another emo freak." One of the older kids laughed. "Come to save your little friend, have you?" The kid laughed, kicking the small girl's stomach. She cried out in pain, only making Supana angrier.
"Leave her alone. What has she ever done to you?" She demanded an answer. The bullies looked at each other, frowning slightly. They began to walk away carelessly. Supana walked over to the girl and began to help her pick up her scattered belongings.
"T-thank you." The smaller girl stuttered, sitting up and gathering the items that were scattered near her. She brushed away her tears and looked at Supana.
"It was nothing." She said, helping her up and passing her books back to her. "I see you're interested in the supernatural." She said. The small girl nodded her head, holding her books closer to her.
"Y-yeah. I r-run and o-occult club here." She stuttered. She sighed a little and looked down at the books. She began to walk away, closely followed by Supana.
"That's so cool, may I join?" Supana asked. The small girl stopped and looked at her, extremely surprised. Hardly anyone wanted to join her occult club.
"Y-you actually w-want to j-join?" She asked hesitantly. Supana nodded her head excitedly, making the smallest smile appear on the small girl's face. "This is wonderful news... maybe the world isn't such a dark and lonely place after all..." she murmured. They continued walking until they reached the occult club room.
"Thank you." She smiled, then remembered something. "Oh, I never caught your name. I'm Supana Churu, what's your name?" She asked. The smaller girl smiled a little, feeling slightly overwhelmed with the questions.
"O-Oka Ruto." She murmured. She presented something to Supana. It was the occult club choker the students who were in the club wore.
"Thank you Oka. I'll talk to you later." She smiled, putting in the choker and leaving the club room for the entrance ceremony.

Over the next several months, Oka and Supana began to get closer. They always stuck together, no matter how many times they were targeted by bullies. Supana now considered Oka her best friend in the school, and believed they had no secrets between them.

She was wrong.

Horribly wrong.

One day, she was wandering around the school looking for Oka. She knew the smaller girl was in school that day, as they walked together. They had split up in the locker room, but Supana hadn't seen her since. She walked until she felt something hit her face. It was a single piece of paper that had been blown at her by the wind. She removed in from her face and read it.
Emo Weirdo. Do the world a favour and kill yourself. Nobody wants you here. There will be a huge party when you die, and everyone will be so much happier. End your pathetic excuse of a life.
She sprinted in the direction the letter came from, and her heart dropped by what she saw. Oka stood on the railing with her back to Supana.
"This will make everyone happier." She murmured to herself, the crying evident in her voice. Supana ran to her, wrapping her arms around Oka's waist and pulling her off the railing.
"No it won't." She murmured back. She began to cry as she held Oka tighter. The smaller girl turned around and hugged her. "It won't make me happy." She murmured. Oka didn't say anything, her words replaced with sobs. "You're my best friend, Oka. I love you." She murmured gently, lightly stroking Oka's hair.
"Y-you're my best friend too, I'm sorry." She murmured through her sobs. Supana held her, gently brushing away the tears falling from Oka's eyes.
"Don't do that again, please." Supana begged. Oka nodded her head slowly and sadly. Supana held her closer for a moment longer. "You're my best friend. My life would be unbearable without you in it."
