Juku Ren x Nemesis-chan:

Flashback 1:

Juku Ren and Hayato Haruki had a rivalry that had started when they were about 5 years old. They constantly tried to one-up the other. They were both at it again, only this time, they were trying to win the heart of social butterfly Saki Miyu. They both had crushes on her, and they were both about to confess their feelings for her under the mythical cherry blossom tree. Saki ran over to them both, smiling like she usually did.
"H-here." Juku stuttered, handing her the note in his hand. She took it, as well as the note Hayato was holding, and read them both to herself.
"I... I  chose you, Juku." Saki said, wrapping her arms around him and pressing her lips on to his. He kissed back, ignoring the furious stares he was receiving from Hayato. The green haired boy was evidently jealous of Juku, but he didn't care.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Saki?" He asked. She made a small scream with excitement as she jumped into his arms. He laughed, assuming her answer was yes.

Flashback 2:

"It's all your fault." Hayato snapped, shoving Juku to the ground. It was the day after the murder-suicide of Kokona and Saki. Juku had tears in his eyes, mourning the death of his girlfriend, but Hayato didn't care. "Saki did that because of you." He snapped, leaning down and punching Juku. A tear ran down his face as he took each hit that came from Hayato. "She would've never killed herself if she had been with me." Hayato blamed Juku for Saki's suicide. The green haired boy continued beating Juku, taking out all of his anger in his rival. He was an ex-member of the martial arts club, but had been kicked out because of his behaviour and attitude. "I'll never forgive you for letting Saki die. I'll make sure you never have a happy, successful relationship again."

Present Day:

"These are really good Amai." Juku said, finishing the cookie he was eating. She blushed a little, smiling happily.
"I'm glad." She murmured, wrapping her arms around him from behind. It was a few months after Saki and Kokona's deaths, and Juku wasn't suffering as badly from depression. They were in an unofficial relationship with each other after they found they had so much in common.
"I have to go to the martial arts club room. I'll see you afterwards." He said as she let go. Amai had suggested for him to join the club as a distraction from his suicidal thoughts. He kissed her cheek before leaving the room. Hayato had been watching the pair from the distance, jealous. He hadn't been in any relationship with a girl since his confession to Saki, and it infuriated him to no end that Juku was able to win the hearts of not one but 2 girls. He reached into his bag and pulled out a water bottle and a packet of sleeping pills. He took one pill out of the packaging, and the lid from the water bottle. He sprinted almost silently into the empty club room and snuck up on Amai from behind. He put the pill into her slightly open mouth, then slipped some of the water into her mouth to help her swallow the pill. He kept her restrained tightly into his arms until the pill took effect.

When Amai woke up about an hour later, she found herself by the incinerator. Her arms and legs were tied together with rope, and she was surrounded by male delinquents. Hayato stepped closer to her, holding a video camera.
"W-what do you w-want from me?" Amai asked, nervous and scared. Hayato and the delinquents laughed as Hayato pointed the camera at her.
"Beg for your life, bitch." He hissed at her, turning on the camera. Amai looked into it, tears beginning to run down her cheeks.
"P-please save me. I-I don't want to d-die." She stuttered, sobbing in between words. "H-help!" She cried more as Hayato turned the camera on himself.
"I told you I'd make sure you never had a relationship again." Hayato growled into the camera. Amai's sobs could still be heard in the background. None of the delinquents were visible in the camera, but Amai was. "Here's a chance to redeem yourself for Saki. You have half an hour, or else Amai dies." He threatened, laughing a little maniacally. He stopped the recording, passing the camera to one of the delinquents. "Make sure this gets to him. Message me as soon as you leave it for him."

Juku and Budo were sat alone together in the martial arts club room, as the rest of the the club members hadn't arrived yet. They were unaware they were being watched by the new girl in school, Nemesis. The boys heard a knock at the door that hadn't come from her. She hid from them before they could come out, overwhelmed with shyness. Juku opened the door, and found the video recorder with a note attached. He read the note silently to himself, which told him to watch the video already on it, before he did. Him and Budo watched the video in shock.
"Why would Hayato kidnap Amai?" Budo asked once the video had ended. Juku was filled with guilt, knowing why.
"He said he wanted to make sure I never had a stable relationship again after Saki died." Juku said, guiltily. "He kidnapped her to get to me." He stood up, heading for the door. Budo also stood up as his girlfriend Megami entered the room.
"What's going on?" She asked, giving Budo a quick kiss on the cheek. He blushed slightly as he passed her the video recorder. She silently watched the recording, getting annoyed.
"We need to find them, but we don't know where they are?" Juku said, a little sad, but mostly guilt-ridden. Megami grabbed his hand, as well as one of Budo's, and started dragging them both out of the room.
"They're at the incinerator." Megami stated. She had paid attention to the background, almost instantly knowing where they were.

"Well, it's been half an hour, and Juku isn't here." Hayato smirked, looking at the time on his phone. He looked over at Amai, who was trembling in fear. "Looks like you have to die. Shame too, you were actually a nice girl." Hayato sighed. He gave the thumbs up to the male delinquents, who began to beat Amai with their weapons.
"Stop what you're doing!" Megami demanded as she, Budo and Juku entered the incinerator, closely followed by Nemesis. Nemesis remained out of everyone's sight, not really wanting to be involved. She could put up a fight against the delinquents, but this wasn't her fight.
"Fight me, Juku!" Hayato demanded, signalling for the delinquents to stop their attack on Amai. "If you win, you get Amai and I'll leave you alone. If I win, I'll make your life hell, starting by killing your girlfriend in front of you."
"You got this, buddy." Budo whispered to Juku. They couldn't refuse, as they could all end up dead if he did. Juku took a deep breath before nodding his head.
"Amai has nothing to do with this. This is between you and me, Hayato." Juku scolded him, stepping forwards. The green haired boy smirked, kicking Amai in the face. That made Juku mad, seeing Amai cry. He stepped forward and punched Hayato. None of them realised Megami had walked away to receive help from a teacher.

"Stay awake, Amai. Stay with me please." Juku begged, tears streaming down his eyes. Hayato and the delinquents had run as soon as Megami returned with Kyoshi Taiso, the gym teacher. Amai was clearly dying slowly and in immense pain, and they couldn't do anything to help her. An ambulance had been called, but only time would tell if she lived.
"Juku..." Amai said as loudly as she could, which was barely above a whisper. Tears were streaming down her face as she was starting to slip into a coma before she died. "I... love... you..." her eyes closed. It became more difficult for her to breathe, and she eventually died seconds before the ambulance arrived. They tried to revive her with success. Had it been a minute later, they wouldn't have been able to help. The only bad news was Amai was in a coma, and they didn't know if she would ever fully recover.

As he watched Amai being taken to the hospital, he felt a note being slipped into his hand. He looked in that direction, but saw several students, so he couldn't know who sent him the anonymous note. He read it, sighing a little.
It may seem hard now, but it will get better, I promise.
He didn't know the note had been sent by Nemesis, the girl he didn't know existed.

A/N: I'm considering putting every chapter of this story into its own book. They'll still be here in this one shot book, but they'll be in chronological order in the other. Do you want this or nah?
