138: Just Leave Us To Be Happy

A continuation of 'Don't Take Her Away'. Requested by Endersaur

Ayano Aishi x Oka Ruto:

"This is it." Info-chan sighed as she parked the car in front of a house. It was isolated in the middle of nowhere, but looked in very good condition. Ayano didn't ask how Info-chan knew about this house, but it didn't matter.
"Yeah..." Ayano also sighed as she looked at the house. She and Info-chan were on the run after they had kidnapped Oka out of the asylum she had been sent to while Ayano was in prison. Ayano had set off the alarms, so they would already know she was missing.
"I'll get the stuff. You get Oka." Info-chan told her as she and Ayano got out the car. Oka was sat in the back seat of the car, zoned out. When Ayano had found her, she was on several drugs, and they had hardly worn off even though Info-chan had been driving for several hours.
"You ok, babe?" Ayano asked a little hesitantly. Oka didn't react. Her eyes were open, but she had so many unknown drugs in her system she couldn't respond. Ayano sighed and place a small kiss on her lips. "I love you." She murmured gently before picking her up and carrying her into the house after Info-chan.

Ayano sat in the bed a few nights later right next to Oka. She hadn't moved or reacted to anything, and the drugs hadn't seemed to wear off, at all. The smaller girl's eyes were shut, and she was completely unresponsive.
"I love you, Oka." Ayano told her again, as she hugged her body and closed her eyes, falling asleep. She couldn't sleep, she hadn't been able since arriving. She had been too worried about Oka to sleep. She was surprised and relieved when she felt Oka jolt beside her.
"A-Ayano?" She heard the familiar soft voice of Oka. She opened her eyes, and saw Oka gently nudging her.
"Oka!" She cried with happiness as she sat up and tackled Oka into a hug. She didn't say anything as she started smothering her girlfriend's face with little kisses.
"W-where are we?" She asked a little hesitantly. She didn't remember anything from the past few days.
"We're at Info-chan's safe house." Ayano told her as she hugged Oka again. "Do you remember what happened back in the asylum?" She asked. She wanted to know what they had done to Oka while she was there that made her so spaced out. The smaller girl thought as hard as she could, before slowly nodding her head.
"Y-yeah..."

Flashback:

Oka walked quietly around the asylum. Her parents had told her she was going away for a few weeks after she still loved Ayano. She felt a negative aura, and wanted to get to the bottom of it. She didn't know how long she would be there, or how long it would take Info-chan to clear Ayano's name. She knew Ayano would come for her when she got released, and that didn't scare her like other people would want it to. She stopped outside the department manager's office. Inside the room was the nurse in charge of her ward, and they were talking about her. She stayed silent and out of their sight as she listened in on their conversation.
Manager: Do you have an update on patient 24601?
Nurse: She still seems to be in love with Aishi Ayano.
Manager: Any change at all?
Nurse: She told me she felt a negative aura in this building, but didn't know what.
Manager: That's not good. She might be worse than we assumed on first examination.
Nurse: Do you think we should re-examine her?
Manager: That shouldn't be necessary. I'll just change and increase the medication administered.
Nurse: Ok. I'll make sure she gets her new meds when she's due, which is in 15 minutes.
Manager: Very good. Now...
Oka quickly and silently ran back to her room. She was nervous, she didn't know what medication they would be giving her. She just had to find out when it was given to her.

She sat in her bed, anxiously awaiting the nurse to arrive with her new medication. Eventually, the nurse came.
"Good evening, Oka." She said innocently, carrying in a box. Oka couldn't see inside, but she could sense it wasn't good.
"Good evening." She smiled a little weakly. The nurse didn't know Oka had heard her conversation with the department manager.
"There's been a change in your medication, alright?" The nurse told her. She nodded her head as the nurse put down the box on the chair. She removed a syringe filled with a mysterious substance. "You now have these injections instead of your usual tablets. It won't hurt." The nurse said as she took hold of Oka's wrist with her free hand. A small smirk appeared as she injected the substance into the smaller girl. After a moment, her vision began to blur slightly.
"W-what's happening?" She asked in a scared voice. The nurse didn't say anything as she took out another syringe filled with another mysterious substance.
"Keep calm, Ruto." The nurse told her with threatening undertones in her voice. Her grip on Oka's wrist tightened before Oka could start to struggle. She put the needle in to her arm, injecting the substance into her. She began to panic as she felt her body go limp. The nurse continued injecting numerous different substances into different parts of her arm until she blacked out.

End of Flashback:

The next day, Oka and Ayano sat together in the front room making casual conversation with Info-chan. She had also been living in the house while she tried to clear Oka's data from the asylum's database. She hadn't been able to fully complete it when they had first broken her out of it. Before they knew it, a mysterious gas started filling the room. The windows were closed, so it couldn't escape. Within minutes, all 3 girls were unconscious.

When Ayano woke up, the only other person in the room with her was Info-chan. Oka was nowhere in sight. Ayano looked over at the redhead as she was also starting to wake up.
"Where's Oka?" Ayano asked, looking around. Info-chan shrugged her shoulders as she also looked around. Before they could say anything, she began to receive a call on her Skype. She didn't recognise who it was from. Ayano stood beside Info-chan at the computer as she answered it.
"Remember me?" The caller asked threateningly. Ayano and Info-chan looked at each other, before looking back at the screen. They knew exactly who was calling.

Nemesis.

"What do you want?" Ayano snapped angrily. "Where is Oka?" She demanded an answer. Nemesis laughed coldly as she opened the door and walked inside the room. The camera focused on what was in the middle, and Ayano wanted to break Nemesis' neck as she saw what the camera was pointed at. Oka was bound tightly to a wooden chair with numerous ropes and chains. Tears had began to spill from her eyes as she made whimpers, muffled by a piece of rough material covering her mouth.
"Do you remember what happened to my boyfriend, what YOU did to him. I thought I'd repay the favour." She laughed menacingly as Oka looked at her with evident fear in her eyes.
"Put her in any sort of pain and I'll make your final moments pure hell." Ayano shouted. Info-chan almost had to restrain her at how mad she was.
"I don't plan to kill her, I have a heart." She said angrily. She turned to look at her victim, smirking evilly. "No, I have... other plans... for your little girlfriend. I wonder how much people would pay to sleep with her." She smirked. Panic surged through Oka's veins as she desperately shook her head. Info-chan had to physically restrain Ayano so she wouldn't destroy everything in the house.
"Don't you fucking dare." She screamed as she struggled against Info-chan. Nemesis laughed, making Oka shake more than she already had been.
"I'll play a game with you. You can have her back if you can find us somewhere in this house." She laughed. Ayano calmed down a tiny bit.
"You'd better be scared. I'll beat you to within an inch of your life when I find you." Ayano snarled. Nemesis pointed the camera back at Oka, laughing a little.
"That wasn't very nice, was it?" Nemesis snarled back, making Oka shake her head quickly. Nemesis smirked at her, sending a chill down the smaller girl's spine. "You have one hour to find us. Starting... Now!" She ended the call after she was done speaking.

Info-chan finally let Ayano go after Nemesis had ended the call. She already knew how mad she was.
"We have to find her, Info-chan." Ayano nearly shouted as she started running around the house in search of Oka, closely followed by Info-chan.
"They're probably in the catacombs." Info-chan stated, making Ayano stop in her tracks. "This house is centuries old, and has a network of underground rooms. That's probably where they are, so that's where we should look." Ayano nodded her head, following Info-chan as she lead her to the entrance of the basement rooms.

After what felt like hours of searching, Ayano and Info-chan found themselves outside the last room in the catacombs. Info-chan looked at the door, then at her keys.
"Hurry up." Ayano said, frustrated. She knew they were reaching the time limit, and was desperate to be reunited again with Oka.
"I'm trying." Info-chan snapped back as she kept trying different keys in the door. Eventually she found the right one. She unlocked the door and forced it open.
