Saki Miyu x Kokona Haruka:

Saki stood back and watched a little heartbroken as Kokona and Riku flirted by the fountain. They weren't an official couple, but it seemed they had mutual feelings for each other. Saki had a crush on Kokona, but the purple haired girl didn't know about her best friend's feelings.

"I think I might be in love with Riku." Kokona confessed to Saki with a smile. It was after school, and they were in the teal haired girl's bedroom. Saki frowned a little, trying her best to conceal it.
"Y-you are?" Saki asked a little hesitantly. Kokona nodded her head at her with a smile.
"I'm going to confess on Friday." Kokona told her. Saki made a small sigh. She didn't want to lose Kokona to Riku, but she wanted to see her best friend happy. The purple haired girl smiled and hugged Saki. She hugged back, trying to hold in her tears. She broke out of the hug, looking at the time. "I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow." Kokona said cheerfully as she left Saki alone in her bedroom. As soon as she was gone, Saki burst into tears, collapsing on to her bed.
"Why can't you love me, Kokona?" She cried to herself. She had known about all of Kokona's crushes over the years, but Kokona had never known hers, because the only one Saki loved was Kokona.

Soon, the dreaded day came. Friday. The day Kokona planned her confession to Riku. Saki couldn't do anything without hurting Kokona, which is the last thing she wanted to do. She could only sit back and lose Kokona.

"May I speak with you in private, please?" A dark haired girl asked Kokona. She was a little confused by her request. Kokona didn't know this girl, or what she wanted to say, but she was curious. That's why she went with her to that empty storage room. The dark haired girl locked the door behind her as she took out a knife from her pocket.
"What did you want to talk about?" Kokona asked. Ayano turned to her with the knife in her hand.
"I know about your feelings for Taro." Ayano told her firmly. She'd had feelings in the past for him, but had replaced her feelings for him with those same feelings for Riku. "I like Taro, and nobody else can have him." Ayano told her, shoving her back against the wall and crashing the knife into her chest. She kept stabbing Kokona until she was sure Kokona would never breathe again. She immediately left the room to clean herself up.

Saki wandered around the school on a desperate search for Kokona. She hadn't been in class all morning according to her teacher. Saki knew she was in school, as they had walked together. Saki pushed open the door to the storage room, and immediately discovered Kokona's corpse. She burst into tears, collapsing in the doorway. Her best friend and love interest was dead, and she was already too late.
"I'm sorry, Kokona." She said through her tears. "I love you." Her sobs got even louder as she attracted the attention of other students. Her world became a blur as she was forced to say goodbye.
