8: Multiplayer

Pippi Osu x Ryuto Ippongo:

Ryuto looked at the girl sat at a computer near his and smiled. He had a crush on her, but lacked the confidence to tell her. What he didn't know was she also had a crush on him.

Pippi looked at Ryuto and smiled. Today was Friday, the day she planned to confess her feelings to him under the cherry blossom tree at the back of the school. The legend stated that if someone confesses their feelings under that tree on a Friday the person being confessed to is guaranteed to confess their feelings. Pippi looked at the letter in her bag for Ryuto and smiled a little. She turned off her game and stood up, walking towards Ryuto. She slipped the letter into his bag and headed for the door.
"I'm going to class early. See you later Ryuto." She said to him sweetly before leaving for class.

Ryuto was sad to see Pippi leave. He enjoyed the time they spent together, even if they barely spoke. He decided to head to his class too. He reached for his bag when his hand landed on a white letter. He opened it and read it to himself.
Ryuto:
Please meet me at the cherry blossom tree at the back of the school at 3:30pm. I need to tell you something.
Pippi xxx
Ryuto's heart beat faster when he realised Pippi wanted to meet him under the mythical tree that day. He also knew about the legend surrounding the tree. Maybe he could confess his feelings to Pippi.

After school, Pippi waited for Ryuto under the cherry blossom tree. In her hand was a white envelope with a red heart sticker keeping it closed. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Ryuto running towards the tree. He was also holding a white envelope.
"Hi... Pippi..." He panted, leaning on the tree. He didn't run often, except in his video games.
"Hi Ryuto." She giggled, as they both blushed. He took a minute to catch his breath before standing up.
"What did you want to tell me?" He asked, trying to control his breathing. She blushed shyly and gave him the envelope.
"I didn't know what to say, so I wrote it down." She said as he took the envelope and opened it.
Ryuto.
If I had one heart left, I'd give it to you. I saved my final life for the one who deserves it, and that's you. What I'm trying to say is I like you a lot.
Pippi xxx
"I have something for you too." Ryuto smiled after reading Pippi's letter. He passed her the white envelope he was holding for her. She opened the letter and read it.
Roses are Red,
Sonic is Blue,
Please be my player number 2.
Pippi felt her heart beating faster as she read the letter. She looked up at him and smiled.
"Yes. I'll be your player 2." Pippi said, putting her arms around Ryuto. He smiled and put his arms around Pippi. He pulled away, only to give her a kiss on the lips.
"Achievement unlocked, find love." Ryuto grinned. Pippi laughed as she and Ryuto headed to the gaming club holding hands.
