"Do you have to go?" Juvia asked you sadly.
You nodded and hugged her. "Yea, sorry Juv. I have to go on this mission. It's really important."
She nodded and hugged you back. "Juvia understands. But why is it so long? A year is a long time without seeing you."
You pulled away and smiled at her. "I know. I promise I'll try and finish as soon as I can." You said and kissed her cheek.
"I will see you soon." You said as you walked out the door.
"Bye." Juvia said and waved to you sadly.
*Time Skip*
"Aw come on Juvia! Cheer up!" Natsu said to her.
She shook her head. "No. Juvia will not cheer up until Juvia's love comes back."
"You've been so depressed since she left. If she were here, she would probably hit you upside the head right now." Gray said.
"Well, it has been a year since she left. She should be back any day now." Mira said.
"Really?" Juvia asked.
"Yes really." A voice said from behind her.
"Ah!" Juvia yelled as she turned around.
She turned around to see you there.
"Y/n!!" Juvia yelled as she tackled you to the ground.
"Whoa. Easy there Juv." You said laughing as you wrapped your arms around her waist.
"You're back! You're finally back!" She yelled.
"Yep! Just got back." You said.
"Juvia is so happy!"
You smiled and laughed slightly. Juvia stood up, and helped you up as well.
"How about we go home." You asked.
She nodded happily smiling. "Sure!"
The rest of the day was filled with you and her on the couch cuddling, with the occasional peck on the cheek or lips.
