(Hey everyone, I know I usually do x reader, but I love doing ships as well and this is just one of my favorite ships right now! For those of you who don't know this is a ship with the characters Kageyama and Hinata from the anime Haikyuu!!)

Kageyama loved Hinata. He really did. But damn did he hate the other's clinginess sometimes. Well, that's the wrong way to put it. He loved Hinata's affection and cuddles. He loved when he could feel Hinata's heart beating against his chest. When he could feel the older's every movement and see the light shining in his eyes.

However, Kageyama despised it when Hinata showed the same affection to someone else. To anyone else. He knew Hinata was an affectionate and loving person, hell that's what made the setter fall in love with him. But he couldn't help but get annoyed when he saw his spiker clinging onto someone's arm, or hugging them too tightly.

Kageyama knew he was a bit of a possessive person as he never liked sharing. What's his was his. No one else's. Though, Kageyama never voiced his possessive nature to Hinata, not wanting to be too controlling. He never wanted to be that kind of partner. No, Hinata could be friends with whoever he wanted. At the end of the day, he himself was the only one who could kiss and hold him.

"Kageyama! Give me tosses!" A voice yelled across the gym as an orange flash zoomed across the floor and toward the black-haired setter.

"Don't just demand things of me dumbass!" A deeper voice exclaimed, his hands reaching out to hold the other's waist, just barely being able to stop Hinata from running him over.

"I didn't demand! I just sternly asked!" Hinata argued, jumping up and down as he looked up at Kageyama, his eyes bright as he yearned for some practice with his setter.

"That's literally the definition of demanding!"

"No, it isn't!"

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"I guarantee if you look up the definition of demanding those words won't pop up!"

"What- that's not the point!"

"I don't care about a point just give me tosses!"

"Stop acting like a child!"

"I'm not being a child I'm being stubborn! There's a difference!"

"Same thing!"

"If I'm a child because I'm stubborn, then you're a toddler!"

"Dumbass Hinata-!" Kageyama picked up the tangerine by his collar, prepared to yeet him across the gym before a hand gripped his wrist.

"Put him down Kageyama, don't want Daichi to get angry now do we?" The gruff but sweet voice of Sugawara ran out, gently pushing down Kageyama's arm as he released Hinata from his grasp.

"N-no..." Kageyama paled, never wanting to make the captain mad. Because damn Daichi could be intimidating when he wanted to be.

"Good. Now come on Hinita, I'll give you some tosses. I know they aren't the same as Kageyama's, but it's still practice."

"Yes! Thank you Suga!" Hinata exclaimed, jumping in the air as he happily followed Suga to the center of the gym.

Kageyama huffed as he watched his boyfriend walked off with the #2. "I would've said yes." He grumbled, getting everything ready to pack up. It was already pretty late (most everyone was already gone) and Kageyama was desperate for his bed. Well, that's not the only thing he was desperate for. Let's just say that also involved his bed. Having busy parents who aren't home very often can come with some perks.
