Jellal and the rest of his new guild were walking back to their camp in the forest. The Oracion Seis had just joined them.

They saw a cave with a dimply lit fire in it, and walked toward it.

When they got to the cave, they saw a h/c mage leaning against a wall. She had her eyes closed, and leg propped up behind her.

"About time." She said and opened her eyes to reveal a pair of beautiful e/c orbs.

Midnight looked at her, and blushed slightly.

Jellal sighed. "Yea, yea shut it." He said and sat down in front of the fire. "Meet the new members of the guild." He said.

Y/n scowled at them.

"Uhh. Hi!" Sorano said. "I'm-"

She was cut off by Y/n.

"Yea. I know who you are. Angel." She spat. "I know all of you. Oracion Seis." She said harshly.

"Y/n." Jellal said. "Stop it." He said sternly. "I know you have a bad history with them, but like it or not, their your guild mates now."

Y/n rolled her eyes. "Tsk, whatever." She said and walked out.

The others were very confused as to what sort of history they had. Except Eric, he read her thoughts.

"Hm?" Midnight wondered as he followed her.

He followed her to a river that shined in the moonlight.

She sat down in front of it, and he sat next to her.

"What do you want?" She asked harshly.

"Why do you hate us?" He asked. "You don't even know us."

"Maybe because you killed my family?!" She yelled.

"W-what?" He asked, confused.

"My family was killed by the Oracion Seis!" She exclaimed.

Midnight looked down. "I'm sorry. I can't change the past, or what was done in it. But I can try and make the future a little bit better, and never repeat my mistakes." He said sincerely.

Y/n looked at him surprised, but slowly nodded her head.

He smiled at her. "You know my name, but I don't know yours." He said.

"Y/n." She said questionably.

He smiled again. "Well Y/n, if we can't be friends, can we at least be guild mates?" He asked and held out his hand.

She shook his hand reluctantly. "Sure, I guess."

As their hands touched, they both knew that they would be more than just guild mates someday.
