Gajeel X Reader

"I'm going Gajeel." Y/n said sternly.

"At least let me come with you." Gajeel said.

"No. I'm determined to do a mission without you're help for once." Y/n said. 

He sighed. "Please Y/n. I don't want you to get hurt. I would feel better if I came with you." He pleaded. 

Y/n shook her head. "No Gajeel. I know we're a team, but I want to prove to myself that I can handle this by myself."

"You don't need to put yourself at risk to do that!" He exclaimed. 

Y/n turned away. "I'm going, and your not stopping me." Y/n said and walked out the doors.

He sighed again as he looked at the doors.

"Be careful."

*Time Skip To One Month Later.*

*Gajeel's POV*

I slammed by fist on the table.

"Y/n should be back by now!" I exclaimed. 

"Relax Gajeel. Maybe Y/n was just having a hard time with the mission." Mira said, trying to calm me down.

It didn't work.

"That's BS and we all know it! That mission was only supposed to be a week! It's been a month" I yelled.

Everyone looked down sadly.

"Why do you care so much Gajeel?" Mira asked.

"Because I love Y/n!" I yelled without thinking. 

As soon as I said that I slapped my hand over my mouth.

Mira's eyes widened, as did everyone else's. 

"I love Y/n?" I thought.

*Time Skip To One More Month Later*

"That's it!!" I yelled.

"Gajeel wait!" Juvia yelled as I headed for the door.

"NO! I'm done waiting!" I yelled as I stormed out the doors.

I'm finding Y/n. Now.

I went to the Eastern Forest where Y/n's mission was supposed to be. Luckily Y/n's scent was in the air. It was faint, but there. I followed it to a cabin in the middle of the woods. It seemed to be some sort of hideout. Y/n's scent was strong. Y/n was definitely in there. I went by the side of the house, and looked inside a window. The sight I saw, made me hold myself back from barging in there right at that moment.

I saw Y/n with ropes around Y/n's wrists and angles, pinned to a wall, injured pretty badly.

I growled lowly, as a someone entered. 

Oracion Seis.

Their the ones who kidnapped Y/n.

"How long do you think that this is going to take?" Angel asked.

Cobra sighed. "Don't know. You'd think that Fairy Tail would come by now." 

"Well, they are idots." She said back.

He snickered. "Yes they are. By the way, nice idea Midnight. Taking the Fairy to draw out the other ones I mean."

Midnight was sleeping in a corner like usual.

Cobra sighed. "Of course." 

I growled again, but made sure to keep my mind blank so snake-boy couldn't hear me. 

I made my way to the back door, and sneaked in. I quickly made my way to Y/n while the others were distracted. Y/n was unconscious. I untied the ropes and got out of there. I would tell Master about Oracion Seis when I got back because I knew that I wouldn't be able to handle the whole guild by myself. Even I'm not that stupid. Unlike a certain Salamander.

I ran to the guild as fast as I could. I got there and burst through the doors. The other members gasped as they saw Y/n in my arms. 

"I'll explain later. Right now Wendy, Mira. Help me take care of Y/n." I said as I ran over to the infirmary with the girls behind me.

*Time Skip To 3 Hours Later*

"Is Y/n going to be alright?" I asked Wendy as she came out of the infirmary.

She nodded. "Yes. Y/n was injured pretty bad, but Y/n should be able to make a full recovery." She said smiling.

I smiled also. "Is Y/n awake?"

She nodded and moved so I could go see Y/n.

"Thanks Wendy." I said and ruffled her hair as I walked past her.

She smiled and nodded as she ran over to her team.

I walked over to Y/n.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked.

"Gajeel!" Y/n exclaimed and hugged me tightly.

"Woah!" I exclaimed as I wrapped my arms around Y/n's waist. "Easy there."

"I'm so sorry Gajeel. I should've listened to you." Y/n said sadly.

I shook my head. "It's fine. I'm just glad that you're safe now." I said.

"I guess I was a fool to think that I could actually do a mission on my own." Y/n admitted.

I pulled away from Y/n and looked directly into Y/n's eyes.

"Stop talking like that. It's not you're fault that you were kidnapped. You would've been able to complete that mission if those guys hadn't interfered." I said.

Y/n looked down, I could tell that Y/n still didn't believe me. I placed my hand on Y/n's cheek, so bring Y/n's face up. As soon as that happened, I kissed Y/n softly. 

*Y/n's POV*

My eyes widened as he kissed me. I didn't really expect it. When I got over my shock, I kissed him back softly. I could tell he was happy, and smiled into the kiss. We pulled back, as we leaned out foreheads against each other. 

"I love you Y/n. Please don't doubt yourself. You really are an amazing mage." He said.

I smiled. "Thank you Gajeel. I love you to."
