Lavi X Reader

LN: Yello! So just to let everyone know, I like it when you post comments, but not when they are rude ones. Also just to let everyone know I do have a spell checker, and I enjoy it when she tells me my mistakes in grammar. 2john367 is the reason why I began this one shot she encouraged me to write and publish it from one of my other D. Gray Man fanfics. So please do not post rude or hateful comments. Now without further adieu the oneshot!

You sighed, annoyance written clearly across your face from what you were seeing. Your heart hurt, from seeing your boyfriend, now to be your ex, flirt with the other female, unknown to him that you were sitting across from them in the bakery. When you saw him lean in and kiss the other woman in front of him, you snapped feeling the pain turn into anger. You stood up and your best friend Lavi looked up at you, only to see the scene in front of you both.

You walked out and moved towards your know ex- boyfriend and tapped on the females shoulder. Ex-Bf/N face paled when he saw you. You leaned down and told the female that she could have your now ex-boyfriend so she could deal with his cheating ass. Then you stood up and left your bastard of a boyfriend behind before you decided to turn back and slap him hard in the face. Then you left with a rather pleased Lavi.

You looked behind you to see that the female was staring at you then she looked at ex-b/f, she then slapped him and left the restaurant. Seems she didn't know that the bastard had a girlfriend. You leaned into Lavi's side and let the waterworks begin. You weren't sad that you broke up with him, you were sad that he cheated on you when you did nothing but please him.

Lavi held you gently to his side when you both arrived back at the Order. Once there, you saw ex-b/f talking to Angel, he then saw you and said, "Y/N I'm sorry, please don't leave me!"

Almost immediately Lavi and Angel both saw you trembling with anger and before you could do anything Angel slammed a fist into his stomach and Lavi punched him in the face. He collapsed unconscious while Lavi moved you to your room. Once there you finally collapsed and began to cry. Your shoulders trembling while Lavi held you to his chest calmly rubbing your back, until you fell asleep in his arms.

*slight time skip*

You woke up, you looked around to see arms wrapped around you. You looked at the red head sleeping right next to you. You smiled lightly and placed your hand against his cheek, slightly tracing his features, when his eyelids fluttered open. You smiled and  giggled lightly and poked his cheek. He laughed and stood up from your bed, lightly blushing over the fact that he fell asleep next to you. You just laughed and stood up crossing over to him, and giving him a hug.

Over the next two weeks you and Lavi were inseperable, much to Bookman's displeasure, yet you both were not noticing how many things you did was more like a couple than friends. At least you didn't know until Angel asked you about it.

"So are you and Lavi dating now?"

You spit out the juice you were drinking onto Angel's face. She flinched and grabbed a napkin to clean her face while you said, "No, whatever gave you that idea!?"

"You both are inseperable and you guys are constantly staring into each others eyes.", she said while dabbing at her face. She gave up and gabbed a bottle of water spilling it onto the napkin then continued to clean her face. She looked at you and poked you, "Are you that blind to see that he is head over heels in live with you!?"

"But I thought you two were together?"

"Y/N we weren't ever together in the first place. We just acted as a couple so I could escape a perverted stalker who followed me around."

"Wait what seriously!?"

"Yes, Y/N I'm serious. Just ask him and he will tell you the truth."

With that said Angel left the table picking up her things and throwing away the napkins. You had to admit Angel was right in a way, you sighed and looked at the female walking away from you, yep the girl was pretty, but weird.
