I had to look up the name of this because it was so familiar. Anyways, requested by Salemq! ___________________________________
A loud thunder crashes through the clouds after a lightning strike has appeared.
This caused a certain fire mage to bury himself even deeper into his covers. His little whimpers could be heard clearly in the empty room as another sound of thunder resonates through the walls.
As much as Natsu wanted to stand up and close the curtains to prevent him from seeing the terrifying weather, the loud noise kept him from even lifting a finger.
It also did not help that his sensitive dragon hearing made the sound twice, or even ten times, as loud.
By now, the pink headed dragon slayer was already shedding tears. He was so lost in his own little world that he didn't even hear the loud thud of his door slamming against the wall.
It wasn't until he felt the muscled arms around himself that he realised; he was no longer alone.
"Shhh, I'm here Natsu, I'm here..." The deep voice spoke to his ear, causing Natsu's trembling to lessen to a full stop. The man felt Natsu lean into his grip as he turned around to look at his savior's eyes with a tearful hope.
"G-Gray..." He whispered. Another thunder hits the room and Natsu couldn't help but hold onto the other's body like a lifeline. Gray only accepted the strong hug as he stroked the back of Natsu's head in a calming manner.
"It's alright Natsu, nothing is going to happen to you." Gray promised truthfully as he smiled. Natsu nodded against his chest and lessened his grip.
"Don't go, please..." Natsu whispered. Gray laid a kiss on Natsu's forehead before laying them both down on the bed.
"I'm not going anywhere."
