I live for good LGBT+ headcanons. Trans Danny Phantom is my life, and I love all the fanart that exists for him.
Everyone had headcanons. Some believe in trans*Dipper or trans*Pidge. Some prefer others.
Most of the PJO fandom headcanoned Nico as gay before he came out. Headcanons are great, and they provide goodhearted fun for the fandom.
Some people dislike the headcanons because they don't agree. They say it's dumb to project lgbt themes on every character. I can certainly see their point, but I enjoy my headcanons and will stick to them.
Y'all should stick to your opinions and headcanons(or lack thereof) as well. Sometimes they go a bit too far, but it's all in good fun. Just remember that.
It's all fiction. Don't read too much into it, and keep things goodnatured. If someone wants to argue about headcanons, then they're wasting their time.
Headcanons for a lot of people in the lgbt community are lifesaving. It is so important to have people and things to relate to when dealing with your identity. When we can't find that in real people, we make that in fictitious characters.
Trans Danny Phantom got me through the closet. I would have plummeted so far down if I didn't have those headcanons.
It makes me remember that I'm not alone in the world. Not only because I relate to the character, but because I relate to the people who drew the fanart or wrote the fanfiction. It reminds me that there are others out there, projecting themselves onto their favorite characters just like I am.
I love you guys. Stay safe, stay strong, stay you. Please, please, please dm me if you ever need to talk, even if you just want to say hi. Don't hesitate.
