Miranda's POV
Sal and I had been dating for around five months or so, and we were taking our time with things regarding the bedroom. I, for one, preferred to get to know him, before anything like that happened. I got to know the real Sal, how sweet, caring, and kind he was. He was such a gentleman and that's all I could ever ask for. He always liked to surprise me with little gifts, and I just loved that he loved me for me, you know? I must admit, I would often throw Sal the signals that I was ready to take the next step, but he'd always stop me whenever I'd go to reach for his belt buckle. He'd never explain his reasoning, but I didn't mind if it was down to the fact that he just wasn't ready.
However, one night, when we were both having a night in round my apartment, Sal finally spoke out about why he had been so reluctant to let us go any further. I realise now, and I couldn't help but laugh at him. Let me take you back to when he brought the subject up to me.
We were sat on the sofa, with his arm curled around my shoulders, as the music played out quietly through the speakers. I felt Sal shift beside me, as he cleared his throat nervously.
"I, er...need to tell you something." He stated, causing my heart to leap out of my chest. I slowly turned to face him, fearing the words that were to next to leave his lips. His green eyes met with my brown orbs, as I witnessed a small smile pull at the corners of his lips.
"What is it, Sal?" My small voice asked.
"It's nothing bad...well, I hope not." He responded. He cleared his throat once more, shifting in his spot to make himself comfortable. "I love you, and I know that you love me." He continued, as I nodded my head in agreement.
"Well that's a given." I laughed lightly. Sal lightly kissed my cheek, before standing from the sofa. He clasped the stereo remote in his hand, pausing the music, as he reached for his belt. My eyes widened, as he caught sight of my reaction. He paused, chuckling to himself.
"Oh no, it's nothing bad." He commented, shuffling in his spot. He undid his pants, pushing them down to his knees, as his fingers hooked underneath the bottom of his boxers, pulling the material up to his groin. He turned his body round, so that I could see the ink that was permanently staining his left thigh.
"I-Is that-?"
"Yes." He answered before I even had time to finish my sentence. "It was a punishment a while back, and I was scared to take things to the next level without talking to you about it all." He gulped, as I smiled hard. He took notice of my reaction, partially relieved and partially offended.
He pulled his pants back up, leaving the zipper and belt undone, as he sat back down next to me, pulling me into his embrace. I rested my head against his chest, as I felt him sigh deeply. I hadn't said a word, regarding his tattoo, and I knew that he was anticipating what I had to say about the matter. I glanced up at him, as his eyes met with mine. We smiled at one another, as I leant up, placing a soft kiss to his lips.
"It doesn't bother me at all, but I appreciate you telling me." I explained, as Sal breathed a sigh of relief.
"So you don't mind that I have a tattoo of a sixteen year old boy three inches from my testicles?" He asked seriously, as I let a laugh slip passed my lips.
"Don't make me change my mind." I chuckled, causing a cheeky smile to pull at his lips.
Sal leant his head down, gently caressing his lips against mine for a brief second. He pulled away, his eyes scanning my features, before he connected his lips to mine once again. I was gingerly pushed back against the sofa, as he clambered on top of me. His body was held above mine, as the kiss deepened, his tongue slipping passed my lips to meet with mine. I ran my hands down his front, clasping at the waistband of his jeans. Sal broke away from the kiss, resting his forehead against my temple, as a sweet smile sprawled across his face.
"Shall we, er...take this to the bedroom?" He questioned, his voice riddled with seduction, as the coarseness gravitated towards my ear. The look in my eye gave him the answer that he was searching for, as he stood from the sofa, pulling me with him. His jeans hung loosely from his hips, as he picked me up into his arms, and carried me through to my bedroom. He carefully placed me down onto the bed, as he held himself above me, peppering kisses all over my cheeks, and down my neck.
"Oh, Sal." I breathed out, as he kissed a trail of assault all over my jaw. He pulled away, slipping his shirt over his head, as he pressed his body down on top of mine. His hands pulled at my tee, removing it from my body. My hands danced their way down his back, reaching for his jeans, as I slipped them down, with his boxers soon following. I peered down his front, his tattoo coming into view, as I stifled a laugh. I knocked Sal out of his concentration, as he looked up at me; his eyes no longer filled with lust, but with concern.
"W-What is it, Love?" He choked, as my eyes flitted down to his ink. He needn't follow my gaze, as he sighed in frustration. "It's the tattoo...isn't it?"
My lips sealed tightly, as I desperately held back a smile. Sal sighed deeply, moving away to pull his boxers back up, as he took a seat beside me on the bed, his arm remaining wrapped around my back. The room fell silent, I could just hear his mind whirring on what to do next.
"Shall we try again?" He spoke up after a short while, as I nodded my head.
"I won't laugh this time." I stated, as he clambered back on top of me. His lips melded with mine, as I ran my hands down his back, and rested them against his thighs. My mind raced, as I felt every single bump on his skin. I pictured the tattoo, as a laugh passed my lips, interrupting the kiss. Sal pulled away, letting out a low sigh, as he licked his lips.
"You said you wouldn't laugh." He pouted, as I raised my hand to his face, squishing his cheeks, making his lips pout all the more. I pulled him down to where I lay, kissing him tenderly.
"I tried, I really did..." I frowned, seeing the hurt in his eyes. Sal ruffled a hand through his hair, making the single curl in his fringe more prominent. He pulled me into his arms, kissing me, as I was trapped against the mattress. Sal went to push his boxers down, only getting as far as the top of Jaden's hair beginning to show, when I burst out into laughter. Sal huffed, removing himself from atop of me, as he pulled his pants back up.
"Forget it." He spat, attempting to walk out of the room, when I reached for his hand, yanking him back onto the bed. I don't know how, but all of the tickles of laughter left my body, just by seeing the hurt on his face. I made sure that I weren't to laugh again, as I pulled Sal on top of me, picking things up from where they left off.
He kissed me passionately, letting me feel his hips roll against me, as I pulled his jeans and boxers down for the final time. I maintained a straight face, as Sal pulled away, resting his forehead against my own.
"What made you change your mind?" He asked, blinking his eyes innocently.
"This time it's not so funny." I answered truthfully. He smiled lovingly at me, soon leaning down to kiss me once again. The pair of us made sweet love to one another, as I was no longer fazed by his tattoo. I believe that Sal really appreciated the fact that I finally got over the giggles, as we shared an intimate moment with one another. He was gentle, he was passionate, and that night made me realise how much I loved him.
Sal was everything to me.
