Reader's POV

"Should we really be doing this?" Brian breathed lowly, as he broke away from the heated kiss, those damn eyes of his locking onto mine. "I mean, I love you, but...do you love me?"

"I-I...don't know," I sighed, as we both moved to sit at the edge of the bed, his feet meeting with the floor, as I sat cross-legged on the mattress.

There was a silence between us, Brian looking as though he was thinking over everything; every decision, every little part of what made us both, well...us. "Brian, are you okay?"

"Not really, [Y/N]," He admitted honestly, turning to face me. "I've never felt the way that I do about you with anyone else before, you make me the man that I want to be. I've never smiled so much when being with you. You're the reason for that smile...and I...I-I can't lose you."

Placing his hand to my knee, I felt the man squeeze softly, before scooting closer. I felt a shiver tingle down my spine at the atmosphere around the room. Sure, I still loved him, but could I really trust Brian again? "Baby, please let me prove to you that I've changed."

"You shouldn't have to change, maybe we're just...not meant to be." I whimpered, watching, as Brian slowly nodded his head, and averted his gaze to the floor.

His lower lip trembled, the grip of his hand at my knee constricting, as I soon caved. Who am I to even deny the man? We clearly had some reason, some...connection that was keeping us in each other's lives. Don't tell me that it was just a coincidence I saw Brian at the park, or that he had seen me too. It was fate.

Moving closer, I let my hands rest either side of his face, capturing Brian in a soft kiss; his lips so pure and tender that even I couldn't resist a taste. I could feel him begin to kiss me back, the force behind the moment pushing us down onto the bed, relighting the fire that we almost burned out a mere few minutes ago.

Holding himself over me, Brian planted his hands firmly onto the mattress either side of my body, laying himself between my legs, as the caress of his lips against mine made us both fall into a daze – not caring about our surroundings in any which way.

Moving his touch to my jaw and neck, I could hear the low moan passing through his lips, as Brian descended his kisses down to my collarbone, already leaving his mark on my skin. My fingers found their way into his hair, as I laid my head back, revelling in the sensation. His hips grounded into my own, letting me feel his erection swell through his boxer shorts pressing up against my thigh.

"Do...we...have...any protection?" Brian asked in between each and every mark left down my neck.

"They're where they always used to be." I answered, silently whining, as he broke away, and stood to his feet.

My eyes fixated on the man, his boxers riding low on his hips, as both of our clothes scattered the floor, thrown and ripped off in haste only moments ago. Brian searched through the drawers, before soon returning to the bed and kneeling between my legs.

Enticingly, I studied the man, as he ripped open the foil packet, throwing the wrapper to the floor. His eyes told me what it was that he wanted, as my fingers hooked around the waistband to his boxers, slowly pulling the material down, releasing his restrained shaft in the process.

Parting my legs apart roughly, Brian shuffled further up the bed, after putting the condom on, as he positioned himself at my core, rubbing his tip up against my sex to gain a verbal response from me. I witnessed the sly smirk play on his lips, as a low moan escaped me.
