Last upload of 2017! Thank you for every single one of you, I only started writing in April this year, and I am beyond overwhelmed by the support I have received. Here's to 2018!

Reader's POV

Christmas time is my favourite time of year, everyone is always in a good mood on the last week of work. Even though my job already is awesome all year round. I work for the show Impractical Jokers, I basically work as the guys' personal assistant; sorting out their schedule, bringing them food, and everything else in-between. Before I even worked for the show, I was a close friend of theirs, it was Joe who had gotten me the job in the first place.

You see, I had known them for a couple of years, ever since I moved in next door to Joe and his wife. Bessy had welcomed me to the neighbourhood, and instantly we became close friends. Through her, Joe befriended me, which obviously led me onto meeting the others; Brian, Sal, and James. About a year or so ago, I was made redundant from work, as the company had gone to caput, and couldn't afford to continue. Seeing as Bessy was now my best friend, I had to tell her. Joe was in the room at the same time, and instantly offered me a job as his personal assistant, seeing as the others would always mess with his schedule. I was a little hesitant at first to accept his offer, because I felt as though I would be intruding on his life. We already lived next door to one another, he didn't need me invading his workspace too. Things became so desperate that in the end, it was my only choice...so I took it.

Over the course of the first couple of months of working for the show, I grew closer to the guys, and they started to invite me out to places. It was also during this time that I began to develop feelings for one of them; Sal. Not wanting to seem unprofessional, I kept it to myself, until one night when Joe and I carpooled back home from set.

I sat uncomfortably in the front seat, as Joe drove us home. The only sound coming between us was that of the radio, playing one of Sal's favourite songs; Running With The Night. I only knew that because he would always sing a line here and there around the office...promise. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a smirk pull at Joe's lips. He came to a stop at a red light, as he turned to face me.

"I'm surprised you're not singing along to this." He chuckled, as my eyebrows furrowed.

"Why would I, Joey?" I asked, my voice cracking slightly, as the nerves overwhelmed my body.

"Well...it's Sal's favourite song, so...I just gathered that where you like him, you'd know all of the words."

"W-What?" I choked, as a sly grin played on his lips.

"Oh come on, [Y/N]...it's pretty obvious." He laughed.

"I, er...I have no idea what you're on about, Joey." I lied. Joe raised an eyebrow, not believing a single word of it, and he was right not to.

"Everyone in the office knows it."

"How did you know?" I gulped, my hands fumbling nervously in my lap, as I stared straight ahead through the glass.

"Because you stumble over your words whenever you talk to him. Your cheeks blush crazily whenever you're near him, and don't even get me started on how you look at him when he speaks. It's pretty clear that you have the hots for Sal."

I shoved at his shoulder, as he laughed lightly. Joe now had something new to tease me over, and he wasn't going to let it drop until I told his best friend how I felt about him.

Ever since that evening, Joe hasn't let it slip. He would always flash me a sly grin whenever I were to even just be near Sal, making it all the more difficult for me to hide my feelings. Overtime, Brian and James both got in on the action, the only guy being oblivious to my attraction was the man himself. Sal never picked up on any of my signals that I sent him...I guess that I was just that bad at hinting.
