MINOR SMUT WARNING!
Third Person POV
"Guys, I can't do it...what if Lily says no?" Brian sighed, as he ran his hands through his hair. Joe took a seat next to him on set, placing a hand to his back.
"Bud, she won't say no. We've all seen how you two are together. Lily loves you dearly. We can all see it, can't we boys?" Joe asked, gesturing towards Murr and Sal. They both nodded their heads eagerly, as they took a seat opposite.
"Seriously, Q, you and Lily are made for each other." Murray commented with a smile.
Q sat there completely flustered. He really wanted to ask Lily to marry him, but the nerves about rejection were beginning to sink in. He had already lost someone before, he couldn't put himself through that pain again. His mind was distracted for the call to get back to filming. The others could tell that his mind was elsewhere, as he wasn't being the fun and loveable Quinn that they knew and loved. He was distant and quiet, the complete opposite of his usual persona.
After filming had come to an end, Q made his way home. He walked through the front door to find his girlfriend asleep on the couch. He walked over to her, laying a blanket over her to keep her warm. He placed a hand to her forehead, softly kissing her temple, as her eyes flickered open.
"Hey, Babe." She greeted with a smile. Q's heart fluttered, he was so in love with this woman.
"Hey, Beautiful...how was your day?"
"Crap, my boss wouldn't get off of my case. He was constantly moaning at me all day. I'm so tired." She sighed. Q looked her in the eye, as he smiled sincerely.
"Don't let me disturb you, Darling. Go back to sleep. If you feel better later on, I'll take you out for a nice meal to help you forget about today." Q offered, as Lily nodded her head.
The instant he looked her into her eyes, he knew that she was the one for him. He didn't want to hold off proposing any longer. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and he was not about to let her slip out of his grasp. They had been together for almost three years, and he was ready to take things to the next level. Quinn didn't want to be without her in his life, and if that meant he had to dust off his romantic side, then that's what he'll do.
Lily slept for another hour, until she woke up, feeling more refreshed and ready for a night out with her man. Q was sat on the bed reading his book, after having showered, when she strolled into the room to get ready. He smiled up at her, as he watched her walk into the bathroom. She soon reappeared twenty minutes later, dressed in just her towel.
"You ready to go?" Q teased, causing Lily to giggle aloud. She quickly slipped into her dress, as Brian dressed up in his navy blue suit. His hair had been gelled back, with the ring box tucked into his suit jacket pocket. Lily looked him up and down, her mouth dropping open.
"Babe, you look so handsome. How did I get so lucky to get a guy like you?" She awed, as she placed her earrings into her ears. Q smouldered, as he ran his hand over his styled hair.
"I think it's the other way around, Sweetheart. I'm the lucky one here." He placed a kiss to her cheek, before making his way downstairs.
He was sat on the sofa, reading through his speech notes, just as Lily came down the stairs. He quickly crumpled the paper up and shoved the ball into his pocket, as he stood up. He looked her up and down, his teeth nibbling at his bottom lip. He was so in love with this girl, he was so ready to put a ring on her finger and claim her as his own.
