A boy named Ezra part 22

"Alright, next uhh...Jedi master"Hera said. The younger boy stayed silent.

"I-I g-guess K-Kanan"Ezra said

"I mean he... is your Jedi Master so yeah"Sabine said

"I-I just wish I d-deserved to be a Padawan"Ezra muttered but the crew didnt hear it right.

"What was that?"Zeb asked as Ezra shook his head "N-Nothing". The crew decided to move on with the questions

"Mind state?"Zeb asked

"What does Mind state mean Hera?"Sabine turned to the Twi'lek

"Well it can have a few meanings.. the way a person thinks or it can be connected to the person's acting, which in this case is both"Hera said

"Ezra?"Hera asked as she turned to him

"Well...uh I dont know..."Ezra said

The crew was silent for a moment also not knowing what to make out of that question.

"We're gonna see that later"Hera said

Ezra nodded.

"Okay  now we  need help from Ashoka"Hera said

"Why?"Zeb asked

"We need to see the amount of connection with the force does Ezra have"Hera said and took her second com-link.

"You have two?"Ezra asked as Hera chuckeled "Yeah"

"This is Specter 2 The Ghost calling fulcrum"Hera said

"Hello Specter 2"Ashoka responded almost immedietly

"We need you to measure the amount of...Spectre 6's level of force sensetivity?"Hera asked, immedietly giving Ezra a code name. The younger boy blushed a bit. He was glad..

"Yes I can, but I'm not at the base at the moment, I'll be back within an hour. Tell Specter 6 to try and use the force a bit so it can be exact when I come"Ashoka said realising who "Specter 6" is

"Alright, see you soon"Hera said

Hera shut down the com-link.

"Well I guess you need to try and use the force"Sabine said turning to the boy. He was clearly nervouse as he muttered "Y-yeah"

"Okay"Hera said as she got up and got some bandages

"I'm not sure if u will be able to do it because of the black spot......"Hera said worriedly

"I-I'll be fine"Ezra said and smiled

Ezra carefully looked at the bandeges in front of him.He closed his eyes as he put his hand up.

He started to picture in his mind for the bandage to lift but felt something just blocking him from doing it.

"It must be the black spot"Ezra thought

Suddenly Ezra got a flashback of Kanan when he was carried by Zeb into the med-bay after that mission, the flashback cut to Kanan laying on the med-bay bed, not looking alive...

Ezra shut his eyes even more and he felt he used something.... different to lift that bandage. He opened his eyes and.... the bandage was floating.

"Wow Ezra you lifted it!"Sabine said excited

"Congrats kid"Zeb added

But unlike the others, Hera looked concerned. Ezra looked stressed and scared while lifting the bandge and there is no way the bandage would lift while in that state. Hera learned enough with Kanan to figure that out..

Ezra didnt lift the bandage with the same type of force that Kanan does.
