A boy named Ezra part 5

AFTER 10 MINUTES AT THE RAMP....

Everyone from the crew joined eachother at the ramp, checking if they brought everything and exchanging small talk. Kanan turned around to check on Ezra for a moment and was suprised when he saw that he was talking with Sabine, not being too shy. Kanan warmly smiled at the sight. Ezra was heard speaking "So how d-does life on Mandolor work?"

"Well Mandolorians live in clans, they fight eachother often"Sabine answered his question in a calm and gentle manner. Ezra was taken back a bit  "But they live on the s-same planet" said Ezra in a childish voice as Sabine chuckeled "Yeah, but we consider other Mandolorians enemies so.....we fight eachother". Ezra gave her a confused look and looked away to the distance of the Lothal grass fields.

"I t-think that people who l-live on same planets and p-people who live on different planets too should be accepted by one a-another" Ezra said as Sabine looked at him giving a sigh "you are right, nothing to argue about there" She continued

"Mandolorians are..a bit different.....instead of working with one another we pick fights with eachother because..."Sabine noticed herself not being able to finnish the sentance cuz the whole fighting thing didnt sit right with her either.

"Being d-different isn't a bad thing. It means you are b-brave enough to stand f-for yourself"Ezra said and smiled at Sabine. She was about to say something but Zeb interrupted her while approching "We need to go"

"O-Okay !"Ezra ran to Kanan

"Well that kid sure likes Kanan"Zeb chuckeled as Sabine agreed. Hera and Chopper went inside the ghost while the rest headed to the centre city of Lothal.

IN THE CITY.....

As they were walking through the streets, Ezra was getting awfully quiet with every step closer to the certain market they had to go to. "Hey, you okay?"Kanan got Ezra's attention. He was clearly very concerned for the smaller boy.

"Y-yeah,I'm okay" Ezra answered with clear hesitation but Kanan's concern didnt die down "You sure?, You look really nervous"

"I'm n-not n-nervous a-at all....."Ezra answered, clearly stuttering more. With him it seemed to worsen the more nervous he was. Kanan was about to continue asking but Zeb interrupted his intentions "So what's the first thing on the list?". Kanan sighed and looked at the list he was holding in his left hand, bringing it up close to check. "Some fruit first.....Starblossoms and Mailurans.....and a few scheduled crates from the Empire"

"Then me and Zeb will go look for the Starblossoms"Sabine said with a small smirk

"And you leave the ''hard to find fruit'' to me and Ezra?"Kanan answered to her, crossing his arms. He was clearly annoyed because Sabine always "called" things.

"I didn't say that" Sabine pouted. Ezra chuckeled a little bit, calming down and relaxing but still standing close to Kanan.

"See you two soon"Zeb said as he followed Sabine in the opposite direction. The two went away leaving Kanan and Ezra alone.

"So Ezra any ideas on how to find the mailurans again?"Kanan asked Ezra looking at him "Yes..but the E-Empire doesnt have a s-shipment today so our o-only option is.. to steal from a very popular s-seller h-here....h-his name i-is Z-Zekk I think, he is in c-charge of the i-international t-trade"

"Where is he?"Kanan asked gently, the younger boy seemed to be nervous again. "Follow m-me but b-be quiet and l-low profile, t-that seller knows me and m-me did have a f-few encounters....." Ezra said looking up at the direction in front of him.

"What kinda of encounters?"Kanan followed with the question. "I-I get cought w-while I'm stealing......y-you know the u-usual really"Ezra said. The two started walking and after a few minutes Ezra suddenly stopped and gestured Kanan to hide behind a building. Kanan followed Ezra as they peeked at the corner, scanning the tall man with dirty blonde hair. He was clearly a little bigger and looked stronger. The man was wearing a redish jumpsuit. "Is that Zekk?"Kanan pointed and Ezra nodded. "Whats the p-plan ?" Ezra asked looking up at Kanan
