A boy named Ezra part 26

"And why is that Ezra?"Jinn asked but the boy remained silent...

After a few moments Ezra decided to answer as he quietly said "B-Because I couldnt help K-Kanan"

"Why are you blaming yourself for that?"Jinn asked

"I-I would have b-been able to h-help if I was there, I-I would do anything to h-help him...!"Ezra answered as Jinn smiled slightly, his eyes suddenly turned sad.

"You remind me of someone, a boy who blamed himself for his mother's death. My padawan's apprentice" Jinn said. Ezra didnt know who the boy but decided not to ask.

"Excuse me if I heard you  wrong. You  said you would do anything to help...Kanan Jarrus"Jinn asked

"Yes a-anything"Ezra answered

"Well then, if you do wanna help him, help yourself."Jinn asked, Ezra looked up "W-what do you mean?"

"No one and nothing can help you if you dont help yourself first"Jinn said

"But... h-how am I g-gonna do that?"Ezra asked

"Trust in who you are"Jinn said and started dissapearing with a calm and gentle smile on his face

"Hey w-wai-"Ezra didnt finnish because Jinn was gone but when he was all alone again Ezra smiled.

"Thank you, Jinn"

The door behind him started opening and Ezra saw the light of day. He started walking out.

WITH THE GHOST CREW...

The door started opening, Ashoka was meditating on the ground, she opened her eyes when Ezra came out of the temple.

Everyone ran towards him.

"Ezra!"Hera said and started checking him for any injuries.

"I-I'm okay H-Hera thanks"Ezra said

"Hey Ez, how was it?"Sabine asked

"Yeah, you were in there for quite a long time"Zeb added

"I was...?"Ezra asked "it seemed like 20 minutes t-to me"

The crew looked at eachother and then back at Ezra

"8 hours passed"Hera said as Ezra's eyes showed clear shock and confusion

"W-what?, already?"Ezra asked

"Yes, and if you stayed outside the postpone medicine Hera gave you would start losing its affect...I guess the temple protected you from the symptoms of the black spot while you were in there"Ashoka said

"Well I'm out n-now, when will it start to lose its affect ?"Ezra asked

"In an hour or two"Ashoka said in a more serious tone as Ezra winced, tensing up a little. He was not looking forward to it.

"What happened in that place?"Sabine asked

"I...I talked to s-someone"Ezra said

"Who?"Hera asked

"Qoi-Gun Jinn"Ezra said looking up at the crew

Ashoka gave a little chuckle "Qui-Gon Jinn" she corrected. Ezra laughed a bit muttering "yeah.."
