Guess at what time I woke up today? 6:30AM. Yes, it's my vacation but I want to try out the 'getting-up-early-and-having-a-productive-day' route for a while.
And it worked today!
Initially I had decided to exercise or do some meditation or yoga or something at home itself. But then I saw my mom and thought, "hey, cooking was always on my vacation bucket list but I never got around to do it because I would wake up only after the food had been cooked. Since I'm up this morning, I might as well learn some basics, eh?". So I did.
I boiled milk and made chapati doughs. Obviously, mom and Alex (who was awake to study for his exams, that are still on even after begining 1 day before mine. Poor him.) were positively shocked that I had woken up early and to see me help in the kitchen. I honestly only know how to make instant coffee, instant noodles and some scrambled eggs. I do know how to chop some veges tho so I was onto chopping some tomatoes and chillies for breakfast.
Then I initiated a conversation with my school friends. God, I miss them so much! I haven't spoken to them in quite some time now and the last time we all met was.... I don't even remember. The Diwali vacations I guess? So we haven't seen each other's faces in a loooong time. We need to make a plan soon. Marissa, Mikayla, mine and I guess Nova's vacations have begun but Mia will be back in town by 17th of this Month. I was cool with that by my little Emilyyyyy! She has her jury going on and her proper vacations start only from June. What the hell man?! Why is her college doing this to her?
Also!
I got to know that Marissa follows KPop too! She had Kai's photo as her profile picture and I flipped. I confirmed with her if that was Kai and when she said yes we had this entire excited conversation about KPop, I felt so gooooood! She's an Exo-L but it's cool cause I'm a Exo-L friendly ARMY and I do love Exo's music! Her ultimate bias seems to be Kai/Taemin and she loves Lay, Taeyong and Ten as well. As for girl groups, she only likes F(x) and 2ne1 (even though they've disbanded) because of CL.
She was kinda forced into watching Korean stuff around 6 years ago, via peer pressure but she's discovered it again in the past few months/years going from Thai Drama to Chinese Drama to K-Drama to K-Pop and she genuinely seems to like it now. Which is great!
We then spoke about going to Korea sometime in the future. She even has a group of people who'd be willing to join us. Boi, I hope this comes true one day!
Since we're on the topic of K-Pop, I have to mention this. Even though vacations have started, I don't want to jump back directly into the crazyyyy world of K-Pop and BTS. Cause I know that once I start hardcore following everything that's happened these past few weeks, my other plans for the other aspects of my life will be left unattended, and that won't be good.
So I'm trying to phase back into K-Pop and that officially started today by seeing BTS' first Concept Photo for their new album.....
Everyone looks hot as fuck!!!!
And Oh My GOD JHOPE! THAT STARE THO!
I literally had to hold myself back with invisible chains to stop looking at the other concept pictures.
I applied for another internship today, via college. This time around I didn't get a quickly reply. That's probably because the offer came in two days ago and I was too focused on my last exam to bother looking at it. Anyways, my efforts will still be on.
I did a low impact exercise routine before going for a bath.
I then helped mom cook lunch. Gosh, this cooking business takes a lot of your time. I was helping make an egg dish for which I had to continuously stir the pot for easily about half an hour.
I then made a list of everything that I need to do during this vacation. So here's the list:

-> Learn K-Pop songs and dancesI completed two of them today. I spent a half of my afternoon making my CV on Canva to beautify it based on a sample of a 'good CV' that I recieved from my Program Manager, when asked about it. I worked so hard but my dad didn't approve of it. He told me that your CV can be fancy only when you've had quite a bit of work ex and want to showcase that, not when you're just starting out.
I spent the second half of my afternoon by again going through the all the final year curriculum presentations that my college had sent us and after consulting my parents, I have come to a decision. I am going to take Finance as a major (which will be for both sems 5 and 6). My two Sem 5 minor are Experiencial Marketing and a digital course (I still have to decide exactly which one tho) and my two Sem 6 minors are Applied Statistics (Eco minor) and Liberal Arts.
In the evening, mom and I visited the local market to buy some groceries and necessities. I got my self a face mask, eyeliner, handkerchiefs and two packs of innerwear. On the food side, I bought two packets of instant pasta, a pack of pineapple cake and a pack of biscuit.
After coming back home, I sat down to update my LinkedIn. It's still not finished tho. There's quite a lot that I have to figure out and I will, eventually.
After dinner, mom, dad and I finally went through our Europe trip itinerary and simultaneously looked at the loads of pictures we had clicked there. I remembered the places we were talking about a couple of days ago after seeing the pictures. We saw the pictures until I felt really sleepy.
I just left their room and with the way dad was wondering how few albums we have from 2015 onwards- compared to the years before that- I am pretty sure he will plan a trip somewhere this year.
