Today my senior college friends decided to meet up to celebrate the end of exams.
In the morning, I had to run to do some errands as per my promise to mom. Later, I met Kristen at her station. We took a fast train and then forgot to get off at the desired station. Lol. We eventually took another train and came back to the station we needed to get off at.
Also, I was back at the station after so long and it felt greatttt!
We met our friends at the restaurant and with a little hesitation about where to eat food, we decided to sit by the cooler in the same restaurant we were at. We spoke a lot and had a lot of fun. We then went to the other restaurant that we were thinking of visiting and ate deserts there. The lights there were quite nice! We took quite a few pictures and left. Kristen had asked me if I'd like to meet her boss and to inquire about whether I want an internship there. Since I'm anyways really keen on getting one, I decided to take my CV and go with her. Another friend of mine who dropped us there came along with us in an impromptu plan. The boss wasn't there so we couldn't meet him.
We spoke below the office for a while and then left for home. Kristen and I took a bus to the station and let's just say I'm not quite a fan of buses. I have had a bad experience once before, with a rude conductor and today, the bus was so crowded. I know I travel by train and it's more or less always crowded but the bus is too small and cramped up a place to move around even a bit and when I travel by train, I always travel in the ladies compartment but in a bus you get squished up against any gender which I don't feel comfortable with.
After coming back home, we cut a cake for my parents' anniversary afterwhich they both went out for dinner while Alex and I had pizza at home.
Kristen called me up later on and told me that her boss is not looking for Financial interns but I can work as a content writer with the boss's brother. Nonetheless, I might have to go her office on Monday for a meet.
Its about 11 now and I'm feeling really sleepy. I think I'll stick to my 11PM to 6AM timings that I've had since a couple of days. It'll be shocking to the entire family. But I want to see how productive I can be if I follow this sleeping pattern.
