Kabanata 74: Beast Friend

Olivia's POV

Vincent disappeared into thin air, I soon go to rescue Grey. But I'll disappear sooner, kailangan ko siyang iligtas!

"Grey! Grey!" Sigaw ko habang papalapit sakanya, "Okay ka lang?" Tanong ko. I put my hands on his shoulders. Pero tinanggal niya yung kamay ko.

Unti unti siyang tumayo, at di ako pinansin. "GREY!" Sigaw ko. My whole body is turning into grey ashes.

Napaluhod ako sa sahig, my body can't take it anymore, I'm failing...

"Bakit hanggang ngayon ganyan ka parin???" I said. Papaiyak na ako. We've been together for years.

I liked him...

I loved him...

I was there for him, I was always there...hindi manlang siya naka lingon sakin kahit minsan.

Hindi manlang niya natanong sakin kung okay lang ako.

He never did, he was always the same...

Until that pesty girl came from his life

"Kaya kong isakripisyo buong buhay ko para mailigtas ka sa mga kapahamakan!"

"B-bakit? Yung CHRISTINE NA YUN? NANDUN BA SIYA PALAGI SA TABI MO NUNG MGA PANAHONG NASASAKTAN KA?!"

"Wala diba!? AKO LAHAT, AKO PALAGI NASA TABI MO! KAYA DAPAT AKO---!!!"

"Manahimik ka." He said.

My eyes widen, I cried my eyes off.
Shocked by the words he have said.

"Inconsiderate brat..." I murmured to myself. My hands were fading away in the air.

"Hindi k-ka ba aware sa feelings ko!?"

He faced me. With a blank expression in his face.

"Mahal kita! At mahal na mahal kita!" Sigaw ko sakanya. Nakatingin lang siya sakin.

"Hindi mo ba ako kayang mahalin pabalik?!" Sigaw ko.

"Enough of this nonsense Oliv..." he said. "Kaibigan lang kita..."

"And it will stay as friends.." his words hurts me more than anything.

He faced me and said. "Mahal ko si Christine"

Tinignan ko siya ng masama. "She's the one who makes you suffer!"

"Pano matitiis lahat ng sakit galing sakanya ha!?" Sigaw ko.

"PATAYIN MO SIYA!"

"Pahamak siya sayo! Saatin lahat--!"

"MAMAHALIN AT MAMAHALIN KO PARIN SIYA KAHIT NASASAKTAN NA AKO" sigaw niya. I was shocked by his words, hindi ako naniniwala na masasabi niya yun.

"You will take risks...kahit hindi mo na kaya" He said. "I'm sorry..." tapos tumalikod na siya, at iniwan niya na ako magisa.

"G-Grey!!!!!" I shout out loud. "GREY!"

I wept alone. "H-how could you do this to me" I looked at the ground.

"AHHHH----!"

Cage's POV

The ambulance came as soon as possible, nilagay na siya sa stretcher her body is still shaking.

Umiiyak yung nanay niya, I held her hands. "Wag po kayo mag alala, hindi ko po papabayaan ang anak niyo" sabi ko sakanya, she nodded.

Ako nalang ang sumama sa ambulansiya. I held Christine's hands,
"Don't worry I'm here..."

I secretly lend some of my powers to her. But something's off.

I felt something sparked, I checked her neck, and it she has black veins on her neck. "Christine..."

"A-ano toh!?" Sigaw ko. Napatingin yung dalawang lalake sakin. "Tabi po kayo"

Kumuha sila ng Stetoscope, at tingnan nila yung heart beat niya, "She's dropping"

"Hindi!" Sigaw ko. Tinulak ko yung nurse, at pinakinggan ko yung tibok ng puso.

"Uhm excuse me sir! Kami po ang responsable dito----"

Hindi ko sila pinakinggan, tinuloy ko parin yung ginagawa ko. Her heart beat is dropping. "Shit..."

I don't have a choice! I rip her shirt off.

"SIR! ANO PONG GINAGAWA NIYO!?" Sigaw nila.

"Kunin niyo yung defibrillator!" Sigaw ko.

"Ano po!?" I roll my eyes. "JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN DEFIBRILLATOR!"

"Kami po ang incharge dito!" Sigaw nung isa. I chuckled, and I give them the death stare. "I've been through shit, kesa sainyo!" I shouted.

Ako nalang ang kumuha ng defibrillator. I charged both of the defibrillator, and I shocked her heart with it.

"Sir!!!!" Sigaw nung dalawa, tinignan ko silang dalawa.

I listened to her heart beat, "Wala paring heart beat"

"Tangina..." I charged it again. At shinock ko siya. Walang magawa yung dalawa sa pinag gagagawa ko.

"Sir I think you should stop what you're doing..."

"She's fucking dying!!!" Sigaw ko sakanilang dalawa, sinenyasan ng isa yung lalake.

The man nodded, at may kinuha sila sa drawer. They had an injection and they loaded it with some medicine.

"Papaverine..." they said. And they injected it to Christine. I gently held her hand, her body suddenly arched. She gasped.

And she dropped again. "Christine!?" Sigaw ko.

"H-hindi..." her veins is still black.

What's happening!?!?!?

The ambulance suddenly stopped. All us were confused from what's happening. "Anong nangyayari!?" Sigaw ko.

Both of them looked at the driver. At nakita nila na nasaksak yung driver.

"SIR!" Sigaw nung dalawa. "Ibaba niyo muna yung babae!" Sigaw nung lalake saamin.

Binaba namin si Christine, but someone luring in the shadows.

In a blink of an eye, yung leeg ng nurse sinaksak. "Hindi!"

He dropped from the ground, tinignan ko kung sino yun.

He stepped from the ground. I met his eyes.

"Grey..." I said.

"Long time no see...Cage" sabi ni Grey saakin.

"Oof!" Napadapa ako. Christine's body levitated.

"H-hindi!" I tried to stand up but he puts pressure on me.

"You can't do this!!!!" Sigaw ko.

He smirked. "I can."

He grips on my neck. "Y-you don't o-own us" I said. I suddenly transformed.

Lumayo siya sakin, I ran to him, and tried to bite him. Tinadyakan niya ako.

"Thanks for trying..." he said, tumalikod na siya at kinuha niya na yung katawan ni Christine.

I don't have a choice....
