Kabanata 3: Your Name

Christine's POV

Ano'ng narinig ko? 'Killrypton' o 'Krypton'?

"Um...sir?" I asked. He looked at me. Pinoint niya ako.

"Yes?" I stood up.

"Killrypton?" they looked at me strangely. Tumahimik ng saglit.

"It's...Krypton," sabi niya. Umupo ulit ako.

That's weird...Tiningnan ako ni Zach.

"Ha! Killrypton?" ngumiti siya sa akin, tinarayan ko siya.

"Sana hindi na lang ako dito nag-enroll," bulong niya.

"Sana!" sigaw ko sa kanya.

Tinap ni Prof. 'yung board, he caught all of our attention in front.

"Today...magpapakilala kayo sa harapan," His voice echoed in the room, I mean, around the room. "Starting with you," Tinuro niya 'yung isang student. She stood up immediately, humarap siya sa klase.

"Hi. My name is Emily. Just Emily," she smiled, then she sat again. Siniko ako ni Zach.

"Just Emily?" tanong niya.

"Ewan ko! Ba't ako tinatanong mo?" bulong ko sa kanya.

"Next.." Sabi ni Prof. Tumayo 'yung isang lalaki. Naka-varsity jacket siya, and he has deadly eyes. Ang gwapo niya. Prof. smiled at the boy. He stood up.

"Hello. My name is Greyson, but you can call me Grey," Tiningnan niya ako. I blushed. Then he turned his face to Prof.

"Just Grey," Ano bang meron sa 'Just' na yan? I met his gaze. He has grey steel eyes. Siguro kaya siya tinawag na 'Grey'. Umupo na siya. I felt a tingling sensation across my spine. Weird...Nag-introduce na lahat sila, except saming dalawa ni Zach, he was the first to introduce. He stood up.

"Hello. My name is Zach..Zach Gabriel G. Remundo," I hear the students murmuring. Nag-smile si Prof.

"What a nice name Zach," sabi ni Prof. Umupo na si Zach. Siniko niya ako ulit.

"Aray! Ano-" Prof. cut me off.

"Stand up," Prof. commanded me. Nakatingin silang lahat sa akin, I guess na ako na 'yung sunod. Tumayo ako kaagad.

"My name is.." Sobrang tahimik sa classroom. "Christine Evelyn R. Fernandez," Prof's eyes widened. Tumayo si Grey.

"Fath-" Cinut off siya ni Prof. He stops Grey.

"Sir..okay lang po ba kayo?" Tanong ni Grey. Hinawakan ni Prof. 'yung dibdib niya. Prof. nodded. Bumalik na ulit si Grey sa upuan niya. Prof. turned his face to me. Then he said,

"I thought..I didn't expect you..arriving here."
