Kabanata 90: Bargain

Detective's POV

What a fucking nightmare, andito parin ako sa eskweluhan na ito. I've had enough! WHY THE FUCK AM I STILL HERE? I just resigned. Ginulo ko nalang ako buhok ko out of frustration.

"D-detective!!!" Pagsisigaw ng isang estudyante na papalapit saakin. "It's over now" tinignan ko lang ang babae, and I'm still processing what's happening around me.

"Detective Choi" another person approached me, one of my colleagues I guess. "Nag resign na ako Alba...I'm not a detective no more"

She sighed and grabbed my arm. "Look at the situation we're in!" Sinigawan niya ako na para bang pinapagalitan ng nanay ang anak niya.

I just have a blank expression on my face, she rolled her eyes. May ipinasa siya saakin na litrato. "This is what we saw at back of the school..."

"You might wanna look at it later kung hindi mo pa kaya iprocess lahat na nangyayari dito..." Too late I looked at the picture. I flinched when I looked.

"Sabi ko mamaya nalang eh" sabi ni Alba. "What in god's name is this?" I commented.

It's a deep hole that has a lot of corpses, maybe 10 bodies to 20 are in that hole. God give me a break...

"Dito ata nila ihunuhulog yung mga pinapatay nila para hindi makita, but they're not discreet in keeping the bodies intact" she sighed once again. She pats my shoulder. "Kami na ang bahala, the rescue units are on the way right now and also the media is already here"

"Pinapalayas ko na nga sila but they said that they need a word from you" she added. Ihinilamos ko ang mga kamay ko sa mukha ko. Dammit...

"Alba...before anything else, I have to find Zach he might be in danger" I said.

"I entrust you in this one okay?" Sabi ko sakanya. "Copy." Ani niya.

Ang estudyanteng lumapit saakin kanina andun parin. "Hey I'm sorry earlier if I didn't talk to you"

"Wala pa ako sa mood makipagusap sa ibang tao eh heh" I added. "It's fine detective kahit ako di ko maprocess mga nangyayari" She smiled.

"Well go off then pumunta ka na sa magulang mo" sabi ko sakanya.

Tumalikod na ako at umupo nalang sa isang tabi. "What on earth just happened to you Jay?!" Sigaw ng chief sa isang comrade niya. "Wala ako sa pagiisip sir, parang kinontrol ako..."

The chief sighed, napansin niya ako na nakatingin sakanila. "Oh detective."

"It's been hell for you these days huh?"

I just chuckled and nodded. "It's over now...Will is guilty dinamay niya pa ang ibang estudyante, tsk tsk tsk..." may dinukot siya na sigarilyo at sinindihan ito.

"The problem is di namin siya makita" he said. "He's on the run"

"We should probably get going now detective, you can rest now" he laughed and waves. "Right..." I said and waved back.

Now where were we? Hahanapin ko nalang si Zach.

Zach's POV

Azrael's blade? Familiar yung pangalan na Azrael. Pero hindi ko alam yung binabanggit nilang flaming blade. Bumukas ang pinto at lumabas dito si Rae-il. "Let's get going..."

"Ano?" Tanong ni Tala. "Going where?"

"You'll see..." sabi ni Rae-il, may isa pang tao ang lumabas dito. She yawned and streches her arms. "Kanina pa kami nagaantay sa baba tapos na ba kayo?" Another Rae-il is infront of us.
